I wasn't sold on Brewer as well, but he's definitely fit in. Fourier brings what Brewer does but on the offensive side. Great shooter, he will never be a star or a superstar but he can be a super role player.
Something to keep track of. Indiana went hard after Dragic in the summer. They might do it just to be able to give him that 5th year.
One thing that could get in the way of that could be that he very well could be only a rental for them if he doesn't want to stay.....and I don't know why he would want to stay.
Well, 1) a 4 year deal might actually be better for him given his age so that he'd have a shot at one more decent size contract after that 2) If he wants a shot at winning, he won't get that in Indiana. 3) All he'd have to do in order to make Indy not trade for him is suggest he wouldn't stay. Honestly, why wouldn't he just stay in Phoenix over going to Indy?
if gogi is at a crossroads, i really hope harden has done some side recruiting. i know that harden gave praise to gogi last year for being an all star snub. another thing is i think mchale and gogi have a solid relationship, so that could play a part... here's hoping we don't give up terry
No **** your team balance is off... That is what happens when you have 3 guards and are possibly paying 2 of them near max and the third one a decent chunk of change... That doesn't even count the point guard you drafted or Gerald Green. The inevitable is coming.... "Gee we have an uneven distribution of resources and assets and really aren't that good!"
OMG seriously? Gerry's tweets?FFS the guy is a delusional old man who has NO SOURCES. Don't listen to anything he has to say he makes things up.
Teams will gladly give up a first to have Dragic for playoff push or to have his Bird rights. Right now Morey would **** himself if he could give up expirings and the Pelicans pick for Dragic.
No they don't, Gerry Woelful doesn't know ****. He's the self imposed Bucks "insider" who has a hard on for some players vicious agenda versus others and makes things up to keep him in the spotlight. He has made crap and crap and more crap for years and years. When he says something you can be sure immediately it's not true. THAT's how much a joke that guy is.
It isn't so much that Dragic wouldn't resign... He would resign in Phoenix for the max... But do they want to allocate that kind of cap space to a 30 year old for a team rebuilding? Not smart... Why I don't think they resign Dragic unless unless they think they can low ball him.
Point #1 is valid, obviously point #3 is valid but Gogi has come out and stressed that everybody has an opportunity to sign him. I think he wants to be the primary ball handler while getting paid at or close to the max. He'd get that in Indy. As for point #2, what are you talking about? They went to 2 or 3 straight Conference Finals (albeit in a weak East), and are 1 or 2 games out of the playoffs this year with their best player out!! Come on now. He'd have a VERY good shot at winning in Indy.
