Hopefully, tonight's victory hits Phoenix pretty hard. They're 3-7 with the trade deadline nearing. Plus, you have to think OKC or New Orleans are eventually going to pass them up for the 8th spot.

Bottom line: they're a treadmill team. Hopefully, they elect to make a move and deal one of their three guards. Truthfully, any one of those three guys (Bledsoe, Dragic or Thomas) would help us tremendously.

If the Suns front office wants to build a contender they need to trade Dragic for some assets and go hard after Draymond Green in free agency. Even if he costs the max.

    Thomas, Ennis
    Bledsoe, Tuckers
    Draymond, Warren
    Morris, Morris
    Len, Wright

If Lawson played for the Rockets we could introduce him to Rusty Harden.

I love how no matter who gets mentioned on this thread unless it's dragic there is some major flaw in there game, realize what coming to Houston did for josh smith's game and understand that it will happen to almost anyone with talent coming from a bad team to a contender. Saying that Lawson and faried don't pkay defense is funny because I'm guessing you don't watch most of their games. I'm not saying I do but as most people know defense is almost entirely effort and basketball iq, Lawson and faried have the iq and if they wind up in Houston I can promise the effort will follow. Not that I belive we would get both but to write them off because they don't play defense for a team 15 or so games under .500 is hilarious. Nobody on a bad team plays good defense consistently.

"Still don't believe in Rockets. Steph Curry MVP and Beal/Klay best SG. Dwight stinks on offense. Rockets need to use Dwight on offense more. I do like McHale though he was a great player. But Rockets won't do anything if they even get in the playoffs."

fixed (as he essentially did say that)

Embarrassing right? I get skeeved reading his posts, trying way too hard to be 'relevant' or whatever on Clutchfans. Just roll your eyes and move along. His "Wheel of Yahoo Sports" mentioned trade targets will keep on spinning after page 3000.

Yeah... The Rockets aren't mending the Barkley fence anytime soon. Too bad, he played very hard as a Rocket.

Lawson is the guy I would push for. I actually prefer him over Dragic. Not thrilled with the idea of paying Dragic max money or running the risk of him walking.

Lawson has a manageable contract, plays our style, ie he can replicate what Harden does, young, etc. Not quite the defender or three point shooter I want, but neither is Dragic.

Plus I think Lawson and Durant are buddies which would help our position with Durant's impending free agency. If Howard opts out of his deal after next year for his big payday, we could offer Durant a max deal and run with a core of Lawson/Harden/Ariza/Durant/D-mo, which is rock solid.

lol, how exactly is that a contender? That team still wouldn't make the playoffs. They'd probably be behind the Pelicans and maybe even the Kings.

I agree with just about everything but Howard is not opting out. He will not be due a big payday he is on his last big contract. He's been on a decline since his Magic days in large part because the injuries, well just the injuries. Until he proves me wrong his contract will be an anchor IMO like Tmac's and Yao's until it expires

I read that in his voice and it worked perfectly. Sounds exactly like what he would say.
