The reason for the huge number of steals is the product of the defensive scheme imo. He doesn't gamble and is on time on the rotations as are all the Bucks (otherwise they wouldn't play). He doubles when he should etc etc He has improved a lot his defence BUT you can't compare to someone who is a lot taller than him. He ALWAYS contests shots and even blocks at the rim.. lol. He always goes after loose balls. He has very active hands. Ehm not sure I can rank him ...maybelike Schroder.. He is not an EXCEPTIONAL defender but he's good. If you throw him against a much taller guard he won't do so well but he will try his best. The thing about Knight is he will ALWAYS try his best. Too bad he can't run very well the pick and roll and our other young SG is much taller than him and a better shooter. Also cheaper.
Looking at Knight in head2head matchups...he gets plowed by all the top point guards, shoots terrible, gets lit up.
Now that's a good question... Can you run a (defensively) efficient team with Harden/Pat Bev Afflalo/Terry Ariza/Brewer D-Mo/J-Smoove Howard/Dorsey Out there? Depending on who gets traded of course...
Not necessarily a need, but he is a guy that really could help any team out a lot. word is Denver wants a first round pick for him if we wanted him and Lawson would we have enough to get that deal done.
Denver might have to settle for a solid 2nd round pick for Afflalo. He has a player option this summer and could just walk from whatever team that gets him.

Changed my signature to remove Deron Williams. Was told today that only way we acquire Deron is if he is bought out and that could possibly happen if we facilitate a trade for Lopez and/or KG/Joe Johnson. So, dropped Deron and added Lopez although I think it is more likely Lopez ends up in Phoenix or OKC.
We need a rim protector. Especially if Howard is going to play musical chairs. A point guard with play making ability would be ideal as well. Lets see what Morey can do . ?????? Lawson AND Faried would be great!! Everybody not named Harden Howard Dmo Capella and too many picks
