Mo is a significant upgrade over Bev and the jet

I have been hoping for this guy for the past three years. He is exactly what we need. He is vocal, shoots the 3, plays defense, is a vet. He is perfect for this team.

Mo's advanced stats aren't impressive at all.

He is what he is: a volume scorer with above average playmaking abilities. I'm not saying he wouldn't help us, I'm just saying I wouldn't fork over any significant assets for him when we already have Terry (and Canaan/Johnson) already in-house.

I honestly think JJ would be a great look for this team. Not sure if he's available or how the Nets value him, but I would consider that a trade DL win for sure.

Mo Williams plays no defense at all. That's why he's a dime a dozen.

he's only shooting the 3 at 22 percent this year..but who knows, maybe he turns it around?

6.5 mil a year though...can you combine papa+dorsey+2nd rd pick..would that get it done?

Just finished watching my Bucks vs the Nets. Jarett Jack was hot. I think he would be an amazing get for the Rox.

Jack would be a great fit but we won't trade DMo nor the Pels pick for him.

The Nets are looking to shed salary to get under the tax penalty. If Morrey sends back Beverley and a minimum asset like a second round pick or something I think it can get done. Even more so if Rox are interested in taking back KG. He expires this year I think. (lol just remembered he fought with DH but oh well he fights with everyone)

Need $4.96 million in outgoing salary to trade for Jack. Bev won't get it done. Besides Bev isn't as good as Jack. BKN would never do that. Would have to give BKN decent value for Jack.

I'm sure Morey's keeping an eye on the situation in Brooklyn. Even if you don't send someone of equal value in return, you have to think that they are seriously considering a rebuilding strategy. I think they value picks more than players right now sitting at the 9th spot and the owner selling the team (dumping salaries).

But I wish I knew more about Jack's game. I remember how much he showed up in the playoffs in 2013 for the Warriors. Solid mid range game. I don't know much about his defense or assists.

Well just threw it out there. I'm sure there can be a trade made to match salaries and give back to the Nets an expiring and a pg.

The Nets can't commit to a rebuild because of their pick situation. The best they can do is buy second round picks. Maybe Silver needs to make a Billy King rule next like the Steppien rule to protect from the idiocity of horrible GMs.
But they are selling and I think they are VERY interested into getting under the tax penalty. Would make it much more appealing for the next owner.

Can't claim I watch too many Nets games but from the few I have watched his defence is good. He shoots also ok from the 3 point line. And right now he is in a very hot streak. His playmaking is nothing spectacular. But he can run a pick and roll and feed the bigs.

Send Shved or Pap and a 2nd for Jack, probably has to be Pap so the rest of Jack salary is absorbed in the TPE we got in the Daniel's trade.

Yes. Granted, if Dwight were able to return before the playoffs and be the same Dwight as last season and the beginning of this year, you want him. But if he's on the decline, then of course Jordan is a better option.

Regardless, I think it's becoming clear that after 2016(or 2017 if Dwight decides against opting out), the Rockets may need to just move on and find another cheaper option at center. It's insane to have 20+ mil locked up in an aging, injury-prone player.

You can't combine a TPE with player salary in trades for matching purposes.
