Dennis Schroder is the future of the Hawks franchise and he is not available even for DMO and the pels pick.
And?He is only 21 from Europe and is having a breakout season. Ferry specifically targeted him in the 2013 draft . Ferry is going to be reinstated as soon as the Hawks as sold btw. I have no doubt that he is high on the Rox list as are other blue prospects like Wiggins Gobert etc But he simply is not available.
That's not coincidence. It's also not coincidence that Rubio has a light-hearted fun disposition that bodes very favorably with the way Dwight likes the locker room. And Love thinks very highly of Rubio. Very highly.
Beverley is just going through a rough patch. That being said, he needs to be the first guard off the bench and not the starting point guard. Goran, come home!
I'm in 100% agreement. Not only are they both an upgrade to Bev, they would also come on the cheap and could allow us to: upgrade the team further in the offseason or upgrade the backup Center slot now. Preference is Mo as I believe he's an expiring and shoots the 3 at a better clip than Jack, but a seemingly minor trade like this could pay huge dividends in the playoffs.
I would believe this if he was just having off nights shooting the ball. The fact that his defense has become a liability as well tells me that he's probably just not the same player after than knee injury. He gets roasted nightly at this point, something I never imagined would happen a year ago.
People keep bringing up these home run trades that aren't going to happen... Realistically both these moves are ideal. Rockets don't need much just someone to take some pressure off of Harden. Dragic would be ideal but i doubt it happens. These 2 moves seem like Morey moves! Fixes the issue at hand now and still gives you flexibility in the future. If we could bring Miles Plumlee or Kanter now too that'd be a nice move with the Howard uncertainty. Before it was 4 to 6 weeks now it's 6 to 8 weeks! So idk. We need a back up C too!
Morey was high on Schroeder in the year he was drafted. He's now playing a pivotal role on the leagues best team. Beyond, hits from the bong and delusions from an outsider, do you really believe the Hawks would let him go? I know atl is an apathetic fan base, but surely the peeps around you are digging the team as constructed.
