Oh "comon man", we're quite gentle after a win. It's after a loss that we become vindictive. Hang in there and take it like a true sports fan. Just don't ask for a blind fold & you'll be fine. Besides, missing your insight for a few days would be hard.
If he's given his own team, where he's basically got the ball 24/7 it could work, but he'd be an absolutely horrendous fit here. We need a guy whose style maxes out at about 6-7 assists (jeremy lin was the right type of player if he wasn't dumb waiting to happen) and 15-20 points. The team's ppp on Harden's possession is the highest for any high usage player in the league, so what we need is someone to take some load off, not someone to change his job. Come playoff team on a good team, he's just an opponent sitting 8 feet off him waiting to happen, which leads to assists being volume of possession rather than value adding. Also the nature of the game nowadays is more positionless, there's really just 2 now, interior and perimeter (point guard, shooting guard etc, are just titles to simplify the game for the public), and if you're a perimeter player that can't shoot, you're probably never going to see much success in the current nba paradigm.
There's only 2 positive things Rubio could bring to the table. 1 - getting Dwight easy shots at the rim. 2 - getting Ariza corner 3's in transition. That's it. If Dwight isn't at least 80% then Rubio would be a liability on this team.
Everyone is talking about this Ish Smith tweet but per the Real GM Sun's board, Gogi retweeted something the Rockets posted about James Harden and then deleted his tweet. I wonder if these players are just oblivious to the effect of doing such things or if it's a hint.
Big winners, sure. Sometimes even in the middle of the Lotto instead of top (or is that bottom?). C'mon, RR is fun to watch and right for some systems. I cannot perceive him as anything but a disaster in TheToyShop. How about his buddy, Llull? Seems a good fit in Chicagoland or Bluestown with his SNT teammates. Now, a deal where he goes to Da Bulls with Father Christmas for Taj? That would be a bigs rotation to take into the deep spring...
Pretty much this. Rockets need a PG that can play off the ball and be effective. Someone who is a slasher and can't catch-and-shoot.
He retweeted this video I pulled it from the page source, twitter leaves the ID of the tweet <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The Beard is in the building. <a href="https://t.co/QLoN916S0D">https://t.co/QLoN916S0D</a></p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/563115492039479296">February 4, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Chose your own response! If you were sarcastic: Spoiler If you were serious: Spoiler So the team will be good by the time Hardens contract is up? I bet he would sure love resigning with us..
Interesting. This is the 2nd time within the last month he's tweeted/retweeted something about the Rockets and then deleted it. The Rockets and Suns play each other in the last game before the all-star break and trade deadline. You can be sure Harden, McHale, and DMo will go out of their way to make him feel wanted, just like they did in the last game.
