It`s different, here they are attacking CyberX credibility. "Something does not add up" was posted earlier today. Not even the Howard`s knee news that came well before it went mainstream caused this reaction. He is passing information along on a great track record, some are woj caliber news, others are not, he and the people enjoying an insider on the forum just want the guys to chill out.
Of course it is not a big deal and this proves that a lot of people lack objectiveness around here. Most posters are either "Morey is a God" type of guys and/or "Morey is a r****d" type of guys, very few are really objective level headed people who realize that the guy is a normal human being that makes rights and wrongs like the rest of us mortals. In this case The "Morey is a God" people are claiming that its impossible Morey would ever say something like this and are attacking Cyberx for bringing up the subject, on the other side the "Morey is a r****d" people are saying that he is in fact a r****d for saying such a clumsy thing and now Howard will get angry and request a trade over this , very few are just saying yeah he might have said it but its not really a big deal, Rome doesnt need to burn for this. If in fact he did say something along the lines of "I like X player better than Howard" 1) it depends on the context of the conversation he was having and 2) it depends on who he was talking to. I would not be surprised if he did, we just were never meant to know about it, its not like he went on national TV to say it, did he? Also we dont know how Cyberx heard about this, for all we know he is a waiter at the coffee shop where Morey has his breakfast everyday and he overheard a private conversation. Besides believe me the players likely never will. I think Howard has better things to do with his time like spending his millions of dollars or hitting his kids than lurking around here so i wouldn't be worried about him getting angry about this nonsense. Bottom line, its not important, please next topic.
Well the Rockets could be screwed for the foreseeable future until we have cap space to get Harden some good help at PG. I don't think the Rockets will be able to get the caliber pg they need to be succesful through a trade brides the deadline. BUT! Morey is a genius so you just never know
Would you say that one reasonable conclusion be that Morey cannot have said that the Rockets would win a championship with DeAndre Jordan instead of Dwight? I cannot imagine any computers or scouts or coach can look at a lineup of Jordan/DMo/Ariza/Harden/Beverley and say that's the best lineup in the NBA no questions asked. Perhaps I'm wrong. If so, please enlighten me. Thank you.
This team isn't just getting a PG. We are obviously going to have to unload one of our young PF's. They are going to have to get a big that will limit Dorsey's minutes. Dorsey getting heavy minutes in the playoffs isn't very settling. I think it has to be D-Mo. Teams probably see the potential in him and will not want Jones.
Would you guys rather have Deandre over Dwight right now? Knowing he is younger and has a better injury history? Also at over 30% cheaper and less miles.
Jordan offers nothing on offence and his defence is over rated, he really isn't a very good one on one defender
I hate to say it but I see the upside. He would play off of Harden so well. Boards, put backs, PnR. But... also still willing to give DH12 the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully this resting him and the ASW break will bring a return to form.
I am actually hoping we keep the Pels pick and can find the next DJ in the draft. Paraphrasing, but Morey believes in finding the next DJ versus paying him. :grin: All kidding aside, someone who was willing to exploit the pick and roll with Harden, play defense, and run the break would be a far better fit for this squad. If you could add passing and a solid mid-range jumper (like a young Brad Miller), you'd have the best fit.
Well that's the issue. I don't think Morey will move Dmo especially now with Dwight out. I personally don't move Dmo. And I agree the Rockets need a big just as bad as they need a Pg. Rockets have actually been worse while Bevs has been on the court. How they can realistically address both of those needs are beyond me at this point.
That's a tough question, healthy Dwight is a lot better than Deandre Jordan, but when will we see healthy Dwight again? Current Dwight equals Joey Dorsey starting because he's not healthy.
Well he is a free agent after this season which could be dangerous. He is a good help defender but an OK one on one defender. He is Younger and more Athletic than Dwight, he is a Houstonian, and yes he is a lefty. Salary wise how can you do it tho?
If you can move DMo,pick,Bev for Knight/Henson I would pull the trigger on that. I think this team needs a second ball handler worse than what DMo is giving them. Terrence Jones has already showed flashes of being just as capable of doing the things that DMo has. This team can't win riding Harden for 40 minutes a game when the other team doubles him.
