Most of the people that replied just don't believe Morey would put it out there for someone to leak. In fact, most people here would agree Dwight should play more like DJ. Perhaps the context of the conversation was how we'd win it all, if Dwight played similar to DJ. Your post may it sound like Morey was making more of a direct comparison between the two and how DJ would fit better.
Cyber have you heard anything on how Morey feels about the PG spot and Bev? Does he want an upgrade or does he like what we have?
I think Cyberx likes to mess with clutchfans by not giving context. If the Clippers don’t look like they’re the favorite to win it all with Griffin, CP3, and Jordan, why is Harden + Jordan suddenly championship worthy? My guess is that Morey said something to the effect of, “If we had DeAndre, I’m more confident we can put together a championship team because of health and role certainty. Whereas with Dwight it’s hard to determine fit when he’s constantly asking for the ball in the post and in and out of the lineup.” That is a quote I can believe Morey would say. It would also be able to be summarized as what cyberx said. A lot of his hearings have that twist. Like how Morey talked about DWill or Dwight having microfracture. Because he only gets bits and pieces, context gets lost.
i think cyber is saying that the rocket's thought process regarding trades revolves around the health of our bigs. if dwight isn't coming back and jones can't stay healthy, we will have to invest in another center who can protect the rim (henson?). if dwight and jones get/stay healthy, we have a logjam between dmo/jones/and smith. so either dmo or jones can be moved to acquire a better PG.
Morey should try to get a PG first. There is no way that Harden can do it all. Try and get Mo Williams, and Henry Sims or Henson.
Screw that, the Rockets need a starting PG. The league nowadays is guard driven. A true PG is what this team really needs in order to really compete for Chip this season. Come on Morey get it done!

Bring DJ home! Free agent to be... Yeah, I'd take DJ at $11 mil over Dwight at $23 mil. DJ (or Whiteside) is everything what folks want Dwight to be: limited offense(PnR, dunks, put-backs) and solid defense/rebounding.

Rondo, DWill, Hill, DJ is better than Dwight. It's like an encapsulation of the thoughts of Clutchfans' most ridiculous and unanalytical members. Funny how it completely contradicts how we know Morey and the Rockets front office think about basketball.
