Great news about Dwight! re: BK's defence . It's I would say average. Because of the Buck's defence system with constant rotations great length etc he gets many steals. But his man defence is average not like Beverley's is( or used to be? ). He is a willing defender who always contests shots even tries to block( that's why he has been in a few bad highlights). He gets rebounds. He shoots great from the 3pt line is very much CLUTCH and can finish in traffic . Now with all that said you may wonder why Bucks fans would be open to trading him. Well he overdribbles he can't run very well the pick and roll and he has problem in distributing the ball in fast breaks. There are some who feel that he is even hindering the growth of our other young players because he is more looking to score and do too much. As the season goes on Kidd has been moving him more and more off ball and he seems to have improved very much. But I don't know if the FO will pay both him and Middleton all that money to play the same position. I think he will be a good fit for the Rockets as second ball handler next to Harden or when Harden has to sit. Also imo having to play next to an MVP caliber player as Harden is and in the West may do him well and he realises what his role is and stops trying to do all by himself. Oh well Cyber said he heard nothing about Knight so all this info may be now useless anyway .lol

Just goes to show even at the highest level they make mistakes. Bring guys and work them out in a fake environment, not real game conditions, and then they weigh that more than actual game play. (Iverson syndrome here, yeah I know.) It's been obvious for well over a year that Whiteside was ready to play in the league if anybody kept up with his on-court play and what he's been doing in his career, which is basically add about 40 lbs. of muscle to his frame over the last 2 1/2 seasons by working out in the weight room. Dude is a hoss. And he finally got his chance. Now some other GM is most likely going to offer him a bigger contract than what he's worth this summer. And thereby compound their mistake of missing on him before Miami got him.

I dont think they know. That's what they're hoping for. I would have been surprised, if they rushed to surgery, at this point. You might as well give up on the season now. Their best bet is to try anything else they can, hope for the best.
If there is a scenario that can net us Knight, Henson and Ersan, I would have to seriously consider it even if it cost the NOP pick, NY 2nd, Jones and even Capela. That package nets us everything we need on this team. A very capable point guard that fits with Harden in Knight, a suitable back up center who is actually closer to 7 feet than 6'6" in Henson and a real stretch 4 in Ersan. If we have to give up all those pieces to get those three then so be it. We will still come out as bandits. I love Jones but it was going to get hard to find him suitable minutes. He is getting minutes now only because Dwight is out. I love Capela's potential but he is still too raw on offense on the NBA level. He is a year or two away from scoring his first NBA points at this point. And the NOP pick is valuable but do we really want another rookie that probably won't be used to help us on an NBA level next season? The likelihood that pick actually turning into a player that McHale will have in the rotation by next season is very slim. Might as while cash it in a deal that nets us players that can help us now and in the immediate future.
I wouldn't say that package nets the Rockets everything the Rockets need, in fact it doesn't net the Rockets what they need most.... someone that create other than Harden. There is no doubt that Knight, Henson and Ersan would make the Rockets a deeper and better team. In fact the Rockets would become possibly the deepest team in the NBA. Knight is a good shooter and solid defender. He is a poor penetrator and creator. He is an upgrade over Beverley though. Henson and Ersan both would really help inside.
