Of all the teams to try to match up trade wise, the bucks are not the ones. A young team exceeding all expectations with a new ownership. They're not trading anybody good anytime soon.

Or maybe you have been reading too many spy novels. You think the Rockets have been conducting a campaign of disinformation?

absolutely, teams leak what they want to be leaked. The media is used as a puppet 90% of the time with leaks.

I meant to say he's not a true "insider" in that he's not in the org anymore. Again that doesn't mean he isn't close to someone who is.

Yea I figured out who he was and we only have mutual friends. I bet someone in the org could put it together. Maybe they're okay with it tho.

A campaign of disinformation? Yes. - Does the whole Morey Ball/3pt shooting gimmick offense falls into that category since the only objective is to fill the seats of Toyota cntr. ?

Welcome malakas! Thanks for the insight & don't be a stranger!

One question though. If Kidd & owners love Knight, why are they trying to get Lawson over a difference of only 3-4 m?

Maybe it's 3 or 4 million per season.

Per entire contract, you'd think they'd bite. But if they're about to buy out a headcase's contract, maybe they want to cut costs for a season or two.

EDIT: Maybe Doc Rocket's tweet refers to two separate deals--Hanson from Milwaukee and "cough, cough" from somebody else. But if I added up all the if's and maybe's in the world of NBA Trade Rumors they would circle the globe many times.

    The Grizzlies. http://m.lvsun.com/news/2010/jul/13/oj-mayo-working/

The big thing during the draft was if he would be willing to learn and adapt to the pg position, where his 6'4" frame would help rather than against bigger stronger 2 guards

Obviously that's the x-factor. I assume that the Knicks would be willing to take the risk, but maybe they wouldn't. Sanders is an ELITE paint defender when he's playing.

My gut tells me that the Knicks aren't going to strike gold this summer and that they realize this.

Hey guys. Thanx for the welcome.
I don't know if Doc refers to Knight all I can tell you for sure is that it has been leaked from our side that Henson is involved in trade talks and that the only trully untouchables from the Bucks are JP GA DI and Zaza. Knight is not yet decided to be part of our core and there is a difference of 3-4 millions per year. Knight asks for 13-14(!) per but Bucks are looking into 10-11. No matter if he is named an all star or not thats too much to pay him so maybe if they get a good deal they will trade him. We are a rebuilding team no matter if we made the playoffs or not so any deal that sends us back picks and young prospects will interest us.
Also about Lawson ..it doesn't make much sense to me as well why we would target him but our insider told us two three weeks ago that we are trying to but Denver is asking for too much.
You have to understand that not every team has a GM like Morey. Our GM right now is Kidd himself and most coaches make bad GMs imo because they are looking more in the win now and are shortsighted.
I just found it interesting that Henson's name now has been mentioned also by one of your insiders. There may be a deal in the works.

Guys, I think we need to take another look at the Brandon Knight/Bucks situation. From a basketball perspective I agree it would appear he would be a tough get from a trade perspective, but there is more than just on court play. There are the financial implications as well.

Knight will be becoming an RFA. Bucks love Middleton who is also an RFA. And Bucks fans appear to be VERY afraid of the prospect of paying big bucks to BOTH guys. (Along with Sanders an Ersan also on the books)

Bucks fans do not want to pay Knight 12/13MM per/yr. But Morey would. Morey would be paying that for Lawson or Dragic.

Do yourself a favor a take a moment to read some threads on the Bucks RealGM forums to see their thoughts on the Brandon Knight situation.

    He looks available.

    Knight/Henson/Ersan(salary) for NOP 1st + Jones + expirings?

I read a few threads and it seems they think only Jabari and the Greek Freak are untouchable...from the few posts I've seen
