Anderson is definitely a possibility. I'm a little worried that both Phoenix and New Orleans will be frozen into inaction. New Orleans is one back from #8, and OKC is 2 back. Both teams have rough stretches leading up to the trade deadline, but so does OKC. Phoenix vs Washington vs Chicago @ Golden State vs Memphis @ Portland vs Utah @ Sacramento vs Houston New Orleans vs Denver vs LA Clippers vs Atlanta vs OKC @ OKC vs Chicago vs Utah vs Indy OKC @ NY Knicks @ Memphis vs Orlando @ New Orleans vs New Orleans vs LA Clippers @ Denver vs Memphis *Playoff teams bolded My best guess is OKC goes 4-4, Phoenix 3-5, and New Orleans 3-5. That leaves Phoenix in 8th and OKC/NOP one back in 9th. Even something more favorable like OKC 6-2, PHX/NOP 2-6 leaves OKC up only by 2 games. We need a team in deal making mode. To me, that points towards Denver and Ty Lawson.
If Melo is healthy and open to it I would expect a full court press from Morey. Not saying I agree or disagree with targeting him. It just makes sense. I could also see a disaster scenario where we wait until the last second, focus all of our energy on Melo, then have him fail the physical in the 11th hour.
Sorry if already posted. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>HOU is dangling Jason Terry’s ending contract in trade talks, OKC is still looking to deal and more West rumors here: <a href="http://t.co/B0wTZC6TZB">http://t.co/B0wTZC6TZB</a></p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/560201936310632448">January 27, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Then this happened, so *shrug* <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-cards="hidden" lang="en"><p>This is not true. Trust me. Kennedy strikes again. BTW, of course we are "dangling" Terry's contract........as part of salary filler for a larger trade. That's about as predictable as the sun coming up tomorrow.
I believe the contract is being dangled, has been dangled and will continue to be dangled. McHale loves him... but just look at the contract. He was brought here to fall on the sword eventually. He's basically a piece of meat and knows it. Believing Morey would not try to deal that contract would be like a frog accepting a ride from a scorpion.
That's such a troll post once again by you. Everyone in the NBA knows Butler is untouchable. If I'm a Chicago fan, I only do a trade for Butler if Im getting Harden back (which obviously won't happen.
I want to know you're logic behind this, you seem to think things out before posting. You just screwing with us or do you believe we could actually get him? At this point I would think DRose is more 'gettable' than Butler
Dont know if it was posted yet, but still... awesome words https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-_K3gWqaBk
Oh my GAWD. The Bulls are not trading Butler. They've stated they will match any offer thrown his way. He's there to stay.
