Just as I thought, Eric Gordon's line tonight 7/13 for 17 points 10 assists 1 turnover 1 steal, 5 boards. I'm betting he plays like a house of fire from now until the deadline.
Of course they are not going to say yes and lower Howard's trade value to 0. Just our ****ing luck. We got stuck with Amar'e 2.0. This is horrifying. If we nabbed CB in the off season at least we'd have Chris Bosh to lean on.
What are the other options?? Howard liked Brooklyn and Dwill...we'd need a starting center, but a good back up certainly helps. I can't imagine any better options during the season.
The guy asked the wrong question. He doesn't need it now, cyberx said they feared he might, as in later on.
We're not stuck with Dwight. He has one more year on his deal. Two if he doesn't opt out(which would only happen if he knew he was physically done as an elite player). The Rockets can part ways with him if they feel his knee will be too big of a liability. Now whether or not they're smart enough to actually do that is another matter entirely.
You can't give a year to year raise or decrease greater than 4.5% of the first year's salary, specifically to close this kind of loophole.
We'd get his cap space, which is conveniently up the same year as... Noah Anderson McGee Nene and oh yeah, Durant. Although at this rate Dwight will opt in because this is looking like his last max deal right now. Prove us wrong Dwight.
Paging cyberabstinence (and only him), what's the 411 on george hill, brandon knight, and ty lawson. Is Bird looking to do a full rebuild and maybe looking to dump west and hill for younger pieces? do the bucks have faith in knight and see him to be on the team long term or will they trade him like they did Jennings once Jennings' rookie contract was up? nevermind on lawson since he seems like a long shot. interesting though. lawson and donuts both played on the same team before which is the team dmo probably grew up rooting for as a kid. albeit different seasons doe. also both technically got selected by the wolves. just a random coincidence. another cool thing. hill has lived in 2 places pretty much his entire life. born and raised in indiana, went to school(college included) in indiana. plays for the indiana pacers. he's 28. The only 3 years he hasn't lived in Indiana he lived in... Texas? 3 seasons in SA, Texas. Again, not even a coincidence, just something cool/interesting i found.
Dragic would be coming from a middling situation. I think it could a player from the Nets. Either KG being reunited with McHale or Dwight's buddy Deron.
No, not Deron. Another injury-prone guy? We go from the youngest team to an old slow team pretty quick.
Any rumblings Cyber? Seems like Clutchfans is going full r****d over our loss and hearing about how serious Dwights knee issues are. Would be nice to get level headed perspective and fact.
Actually, I'm pretty sure if they're uncertain, they would just tell Feigan to not respond to the question in the first place. There's no reason for the Rockets to ever just flat out lie when there's no need. They're run by people smarter than that.
It would be nice to get the trade done sooner than later. The Rockets aren't winning a ship with this squad. They need a ball handler to get it out of the hands of Bev/Howard. Turnovers are what is killing this team.
Cool. Thanks for the reply. Always interesting to read the potential avenues we have to improve our team, especially after yesterday's frustrating loss
