So we're getting trolled by errrrybody now, from teenage kid to long time posters, a 99'er no less (Plowman, paging Plowman)?

Something needs to be done to punish these MFs who spread false BS info.

Yeah, I call BS on that one. Unless I hear legit rumblings I doubt Howard is wanting out just because Parsons got a max deal.

We have a big hole in PG depth, but we're only hearing about the Rockets chasing veteran 2s and 3s. No way we're banking on Canaan or Johnson as Bev's backup.

Does the fact that we're not hearing rumors about improving or filling the PG depth signal that they're working on something potentially bigger?

He is legit but he's also a Lakers homer. His opinion posts sound like most Lakers fans I encounter on places like FB sports groups.

Very very valid reasons to be worried. Before the start of the season I have faith in Morey to fix these issues. We won't have someone as good as Asik but Lin is very replaceable. I'm growing very fond of the Adrien pick up and I understand the Ariza pick up as well his D is light years a head of Chandler

Not sure I agree with that. Asik was "injured" for two months. That prolonged leave of absence did not hurt the team. I am betting here that Dorsey will be more than capable to be Howard's backup center for 12-13 minutes.

Parsons ' defense too a huge step back from years past and having him and Harden made our perimeter defense look like swiss cheese. While we will miss his playmaking skills, Ariza's overall game might fit this team better.

Lin was inconsistent as hell. Great to scrub even in the same game. Another bet here is that Johnson kid will steal Canaan's presumed backup pg job.

Hey now, I'm just passing on what I heard.

I apologize for not getting back to you last night, but things got busy at home.

A lot of it is just because Parsons is gone and he was a huge part in getting him here, no ACTUAL news has been sent out regarding him wanting to leave. Just CF peeps freaking out.

    no

I see it ere and other places. People just assume he will become unhappy and leave. I for one expects him to retire a Rocket.

One of those spots has been adequately filled (Ariza). Don't know on Dorsey, but supposedly he was the best defensive center in euroleague last year. Plus, Asik missed like 40% of the year anyway.

I'm not all that concerned about losing Lin. Not a bad player, but also not irreplaceable. Morey is a wizard with PGs.

We will be a better team March 2015 than we were this past year.

I don't trust this Drew person. I think he only can confirm the rumor that's already out there or he leaks out what's about to happen.
Anything else is just speculation on his part.

Just the nature of this offseason from the clutch fans community. Man it would be nice to get the roster filled out at least so we can have some assurance this year won't be a waste.

I wouldn't be too excited about Dorsey. For all Morey's magic with PGs he's had flameouts with big men at a better rate! How many big men has he drafted?

Lin's contributions to the team, particularly the offensive pace he would help set, are greatly under appreciated. He was prone to boneheaded mistakes, he had an annoying contract and he had horrible obsessed fans that hurt this board, but as a player in a vacuum he brought a lot of value to the Rockets.

People seem to assume that anytime something might negatively involve Dwight, it's probably true and the worst idea would be to ask Dwight. That guy can never win, lol

    Plowman,

Dragic makes a lot of sense as a potential trade option, but the scenario you laid out (him signing an extension) seems unlikely. He could only add an extra 2-3 years by signing an extension vs. 5 years in free agency with a team that has his bird rights.

Any thought on the timing of said potential deal?
