Just had to post in this thread AGAIN about how great Cyberx is. You're the flipping MAN (or woman.....if that's the case). A Smith signing could open up so many options for Morey, and I'm in favor of this one: Sign Smith (Cut Black b/c he's not guaranteed money) Trade D - Mo and NO pick+ filler (like Cyberx said earlier) for Dragic. Sign Houstonian Emeka Okafor to be our backup C Rotation: Dragic/Beverley/Canaan/Johnson Harden/Terry Ariza/Brewer/K-Pap Smith/Jones Howard/Okafor/Dorsey/Capela Incredible depth at all 5 positions!
Inexperience/injuries are the only weaknesses I can see. Need to rest Dwight/Harden on some back to backs. Will help Dmo develop and will keep him fresh.
I have an odd suspicion that we make a trade before the signing in order to make room for Smith. I could be wrong but who knows.
Are we so certain Phoenix is gonna trade Dragic anytime soon? They've won 4 in a row, are currently holding the 8th seed, and are still in the playoff race as long as OKC has trouble keeping Durant and Westbrook out on the floor together.
Possibly Rockets FO showcasing Dorsey for a trade instead of waiving that guaranteed contract. He did the same with Daniels. I know, "who would want Dorsey?!", but maybe some team will offer a eurostash pick from 2002 lol
