    How all of you believe that any team will just take our trash, and not even our best trash, is what doesn't make sense. Suns may be forced to S&T one of their best players for 10 cents on the dollar but they still want to maximize their return as much as possible and no matter what world you live in, TJones has proven to be better player than either inconsistent D-Mo or raw as uncooked rice Clint Capela. And TJones is still young w/as much upside as both but already productive AS A STARTER on 50 win team. SMH

    Again, your argument was about them trying to make the playoffs, taking Jones wouldn't be about the playoffs, it'd be about him being more valuable. In either scenario, their team is still worse (and it's already worse than the 9th seed roster last year)

    But again you are thinking myopically, Suns have tons of assets and can still make moves to improve themselves for playoff run. This will NOT be the last deal they make this season. The point is that they need to accumulate as many quality assets first to maximize any deals for blue chip talent. TJ is a quality asset, D-Mo/Capela are less so. TJ helps them on the court, or in a package for better player(s), for deep playoff run.

    Suns don't believe they are contenders yet, but expect to make playoffs.

    No, I'm saying their GM would be setting them up for the most valuable asset of all, the type that might get them an actual superstar. You keep saying he'll look to make moves to get in the playoffs, he could have made his team a fringe playoff team this season already and chose not to and so far, as of right now, has made them worse than last year. This isn't the Eastern Conference, you can't dump an inferior team out til the deadline and seek to make the playoffs, hell even if they got Durant they'd probably already be too far behind.

    Who do we even have to trade for Bledsoe? Please Daryl, stop dreaming and get someone who can actually be on the roster and helping us next season.

    The loss of Frye doesn't mean Suns are tanking season, either u are over exaggerating for effect or you are ignorant about the Suns. Frye was essentially a stretch 4 for Suns, something either of Morris twins can fill. It would make sense that they are looking to upgrade that spot since they are very good everywhere else - PG: Dragic, Thomas, Ennis, Goodwin; SG: Green (PHX actually prefer to play 2 PGs); SF: Tucker, Warren; C: Plumlee, Len

    It is possible to collect BEST assets for big trade AND stay in playoff contention. To argue otherwise is disingenuous just to advance your agenda.

    PF is not our weakest postion its point guard! Its just less obvious because Harden has the ball most of the time. Also look at it this way Rondo could make Jones better can Paul Milsap make Beverley better?

    Beverley is better than Jones. He's a great defender and he can occasionally provide some offense. Jones on the other-hand is a terrible defender and provides about the same amount of offense. That said, I'd love getting Bledsoe and I think he's a top 20 player in the league (with potential to improve).

    I believe both of these two trades will work:

    Trade #1

    Kostas Papanikolaou, Alonzo Gee's contract, New Orleans first round draft pick, Clint Capela, and Isaiah Canaan to Phoenix;

    Eric Bledsoe (signed and traded) and Shavlik Randolph (filler) to Houston;

    Trade #2

    Same package to Phoenix;

    Eric Bledsoe and Shavlik Randolph to Boston;

    Rajon Rondo to Houston

    NOTE: Gee cannot be traded until 9/15.

    Just so you will know. Cyberx said that Morey has no interest in Rondo as he saw him as a locker room cancer.

    A Bledsoe trade is 50% excitement & 50% apprehension. The talent upgrade he would bring to this team,.. but can he stay healthy enough to showcase it?

    I like Bledsoe for the fact that he's played with all nba guards who we're better than him the past 2 years. I think he would fit perfect with harden as he wouldn't be asked to be the guy running the show just finishing it.

    I like Bledsoe as he'd be great next to Harden, a ying-yang effect.

    Harden's a 1a/1b playmaker, excellent penetrator, and top scorer. Bledsoe is a 1a/1b playmaker, excellent defender, and very potent 3rd scorer.

    Depending upon the cost, if we could add Bledsoe and keep Bev, our depth just got that much better...as did our defense in general. The issue whose our 4 man, and what can we do there. Even a two-headed 4 man rotation of a defensive guy and stretch 4 guy is plentiful.

    Bledsoe/Harden/Bev/Daniels(spot minutes) is a great wing combo.

    lol Jones is a better basketball player than Beverely, and far more valuable.

    Beverely is just great at fouling, and playing harassing defense. He's a guy that comes with diminishing returns over the course of the game, and can kept too involved for the detriment of the team.

    He's best suited as a 20mpg, change of pace, defensive attack guard. I'm fine with him starting, or as a bench player, just not with heavy minutes.

    Where did you hear this? From everything I've heard Morey's been trying to find a way to get Rondo for several years now.
