As much as I hate moochie norris, he does a better job than Steve when it comes to cutting. Steve doesn't get around and just kinda cuts through the paint when Yao is posting. I've seen a few times where Yao and Mooch got easy layups. James Posey for that matter too does a good job at making cuts to the hoop.

Other than that little tidbit of information, lets move moochie to be the Team Mascot and cut Clutch the bear instead.

Give me a break. I've heard people say the same for Dirk or Nash.

As a minority (Asian) I hate it when other minorities pull out the race card when it's really not a big deal (Moochie's hair is not a big deal). It discredits the times when a minority has a LEGIT gripe.

So you wouldn't mind if I wrote "I'm tired of that slanted eyed Yao" not being a strong enough rebounder?

Hold it !!! Moochie may just thrive in our new team oriented offense. He may misss layups or open shuts, but remember a couple games in the first half season? He played absolute better than Steve in passing the ball and getting whole team involved.

Let's have a system first, before building/cutting the personnel around.

Hey fellas, I originally posted this thread, I am African American. I am not hyper-sensitive regarding the hair issue. You just have to be honest, Moochie's hair is "nappy" looking when he has it standing up on his head like my boy "HeatMizer". He set himself up for this the first time he ran out on the court with that "Do". But it is all good, I apologize to all the brothering I have unintentionally offended. P.S. I still want the ROX to cut him ASAP.:) I wish I had a snap shop of ol' HeatMizer to attach to this thread!!!!!!

Moochie's doo does need work. He's not that bad. I believe that, given time, with enough hard work he'll make a terrific CBA player.

I totally believe we should tack Moochie and Mo Taylors sorry ass contracts to the price of the new arena and make MOochie serve popcorn and prevent Mo from eating it all. It will totally be worth it.

Don't you remember when everyone loved Moochie? Now he's Houston's Most Hated because of a bad year. Players often have a bad year after they get that new contract signed... but can't we put that behind us and see if he improves next year? One bad year doesn't define Moochie.
Give a brotha a hug, show em some love!

Without his hair style, Moochie is another CBA player and a 10 day contract day.

Moochie didnt have a bad season! He just didnt bother, except for one game. Steve Francis was injured, fans were expressing concern about Francis and his dribbling and low Assists, Moochie had a fantastic game, getting the ball up the court and making Assists at every opportunity. After the game Moochie made a statement about how he performs to the Coaches instructions and how he can make Assists.[It sort of sounded like he was putting Steve down] Francis made a very quick recovery and was back as leader the very next game and Moochie was back being Moochie.
JVG wont stand for players that dont bother and that goes for all of the Roster. If Moochie is still with us JVG might have him as the starting Point Guard:D

I want Morris out of here too...he can't play defense and with the new zone defense rules, he is as ineffective as you can be.....

    Later Mooch.

Unless the team has an option to drop his contract, NO WAY should we cut Mooch. Do we want another baloney/Maloney situation?? Where we pay a guy for years and he's not even a cheerleader? I'd make Mooch a PowerDancer before I'd cut him.

You keep the guy until you can force another team to take on his contract in order to get someone else they want. And who knows... maybe Van Gundy will light a fire under his sorry a$$.
