At this point, I'd rather Garropolo be healthy and play. Its a lose-lose if the Texans play Brisset. If they win in any way but absolutely convincingly (and even then), I don't see anybody taking notice or giving them recognition. If they lose, we all know what will happen. Chances are the same thing happens if Garropolo plays anyways.
I've seen this a couple times now and I just don't understand. Why does it matter what anyone outside of the Texans/Houston think about us? Are some of us confusing this with college football where it actually does matter what people think? 3-0 is 3-0 I just don't get why recognition matters
idgaf who plays thursday... a win is a win. one game doesn't determine the season. just get the job done.
I guess I can sorta see the logic of wanting to beat the Patriots with Brady. You beat the Patriots with Brady, you've beaten one of the best in the league. You've done something. To me, beating the Patriots with Garrapolo vs Brisset doesn't move the needle. The media may speak about your team differently afterwards, but as accomplishments go it really isn't a big deal and either way you're 3-0.
Harden time is on ignore. I even removed Bobby who has been much better last few months. Take this win without Brady! It's basically a free game on the rest of the division.
Came to post this. Give me the Ws and I'm happy. Playoff seeding and homefield is determined by your record, not by the team's Q score.
Skyrimowns has always been a troll. Anyways Texans win by 6 because we have the blacker QB! This will be the first game I will actually get to watch this season!!!
Gonna be tough no matter who plays. On the radio they made it sound like Gronk was certain to play. Gotta bring our A game to beat the Pats, especially at their house. Texans 27 Pats 23
This this this!!! If we win this game with NE playing a bunch of scabs, who cares? At the end of the season when we have the same record, the tiebreaker doesn't go to the team that had the most injuries during Week 3....
If Gronk plays the Texans are going to have their hands full trying to match up with him and Bennett (along with their WR's). I don't care who their QB is.
Exactly - dont seem to understand why some people get so bent out of shape due to lack of media attention/recognition. If the national media discredit's tomorrow's potential win, who cares? Does the "ESPN Power Ranking" really matter? When your team finished 11-5, 12-4, or 13-3 and your "ESPN Power Ranking" is in the bottom half of the league, does it really matter?? When you hold Home Field for the entire playoffs and then potentially for the Super Bowl, does it really matter what the national media thinks? Texans win tomorrow 24-13.
We're Houston and if you're not used to being s*** on by the national media, you haven't been paying attention at all for decades. All that matters is being 3-0.

The Texans blast a giant, "Shhhh - offense at work" graphic when the team has the ball. If the announcers somehow didn't see the literally 280-foot message, they're freaking morons. It's impossible to miss.
