About 5 times in the last game, the announcers commented about how quiet the home crowd was when the Texans had the ball. They didn't seem to understand that they are supposed to be quiet when the home team has the ball. I'm wondering if they'll make a big deal about it if other fans are smart.

Boston media saying he has a shot. A lot easier if he's out

I think that's mostly just BS reports, also, I think it's a lot easier if he's playing hurt. When you have a jacked up throwing shoulder against an opportunistic defense it often equals interceptions. If he plays, it means the Pats think their 3rd string guy is basically Hoyer level bad because no one is going to throw worth a damn 4 days after a shoulder sprain in their throwing arm.

I don't think they risk his trade value.

I could see a team like Cleveland giving up two first for him this offseason in an effort to get a quarterback.

Of course they will have forgotten Matt Cassell.

Yeah I didn't get that at all. I wasn't at the game so I don't know how the crowd was but every time they brought up the lack of noise it was when we had the ball. No **** it's quiet assholes. Then at the end the crowd was jacked on defense and they said the crowd woke up. Very strange.

Vandemeer actually commented how it was one of the loudest crowds NRG has had in the last few years.

you overrat jimmy g, no team will be suckered by the pats like they did with matt cassell AGAIN

I think thats why the hesistance to start brisett, if jacoby goes out there and lights it up or plays well, people will start asking questions. Is it Jimmy G or the pats offensive system

hue jackson would never trade for jimmy g

Michael Vick is still a free agent. He's a black QB.

No, has nothing to do with that.

If you recall, he missed games at two different time periods last season because of a foot injury. This is the same thing.

Aww gotchya. I was at the game, and I only watched our defense on the broadcast when I was home.

Yeah, it's amazing how loud it is in person versus how quiet they make it sound by canceling out a lot of the yelling (when we were on defense)

kizer, kaaya, hundley, deshaun watson, cardale jones, teddy( when he gets healthy), dak, cam and wilson are great qbs and people still bring up vick lol

no more are the days when you could single out a certain qb, and label him for the entire group

their are more promising african american qbs in the high school ranks than white qbs in AMERICA.

jacoby brisett is def a starter in this league, remmeber nfl scouts always put a low ceiling on black qbs. Cam Newton and Jameis Winston were the next jamarcus russell. Russell Wilson was too small to play the position. And im sure would be in the cfl right now if not for the great seahawks front office, meanwhile the texans are stuck with osweilers of the world. This guy is a bum

the qbs from this class coming up are better and the browns have multiple picks, they can get kizer and build a team around him. Kizer has way more upside than wentz, and has played againist tougher teams

This sucks. This is supposed to be a game thread about a game the entire city is hyped about, and this troll is high-jacking it for his idiotic agenda. If you want to talk about Deshone Kizer, or Kaaya, or even Byron Leftwich and David Gerard, take it to the NFL thread.

Back to the real topic, no matter who's playing qb for NE, the Texans are going to have really pony up and stop LeGarrette Blount. We can't let him go off for a big game and bail out Jimmy G/Brissett.
