Cannot believe he is still on the roster. I am assuming it is due to Kube's being in the hospital. They better cut his sorry a$$ He was crapping himself when they were showing him on the sidelines during the final drive. He had that "Please, GOD, don't get into field goal range. Please!" look on his face. The kid has a helluva leg but doesn't have the intestinal fortitude for the NFL kicking game. Give me a Shayne Graham with his noodle leg all day long...at least that dude could make 40-45 yarders
You know who should really hate him? Kickers in college, because their already miniscule chance of being drafted just fell to zero.
Graham was 7/9 from 40-49 yards out last year, and 4/9 outside of 50. Perfect inside the 40. I'll take it and just settle for going for it on 4th when we are outside of 45 yards.
My favorite thing about Shayne Graham was that year in Hard Knocks when they went to a steak restaurant he ordered the Shayne Graham. Bullock can't touch that.
wow is anyone original anymore? ive seen like 10 variations of this "joke" all over social media and on local sports radio. talk about a hacky joke
For the people touting his leg... he doesn't even get touchbacks routinely (which leads to exposing this team's awful kickoff return coverage). With kickoffs being moved to the 35, it was designed to DECREASE kick returns (which lead to more high impact collisions/injuries)... yet the Texans seem to contribute single-handedly to more returns (both with their idiot kick returner running balls 9 yards deep, and the lack of a consistent kicker getting touchbacks).
This is just terrible: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23NFL&src=hash">#NFL</a> kickers have a better avg from 50+ this year (65.9%) then <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Texans&src=hash">#Texans</a> K Randy Bullock has for all FG Atts the year (61.8%). 0-4 on 50+ BTW</p>— James Palmer (@JPalmerCSN) <a href="https://twitter.com/JPalmerCSN/statuses/398078338893631488">November 6, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/JPalmerCSN">@JPalmerCSN</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/LanceZierlein">@LanceZierlein</a> imagine how good the percentage for all kickers 50+ would be if Randy wasn't bring his 0-4 to the party?</p>— Brandon Martin (@BranMart) <a href="https://twitter.com/BranMart/statuses/398081287438606338">November 6, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Big surprise: Texans sticking with Bulls-eye Bullock. http://www.myfoxhouston.com/story/2...ers-texans-not-ready-to-make-a-move-at-kicker
I don't know. Maybe it's wishful thinking. My guess is they're not bothering Kubiak with personnel decisions right now. And just because they told him on Tuesday that they're gonna hold off doesn't mean it couldn't change before Sunday.
Huge leg, wasted a 5th round on a kicker(equivalent to a 1st round pick in another position. Easy desicion to keep him. The texans aren't going anywhere, so maybe you see if the kid can mentally step up. These aren't misses, these are shanks. He isn't hitting the ball correctly(mental). He has upside, and I just have trouble believing he is this bad.
