Guys, Cushing said that he has never injected himself with anything. That doesnt mean someone else hasnt done it. He's telling the truth if you take his words literally.
Would he have been more believable if he just said yesterday "Look, my gf and I were having a lot of fun with each other and I produced that high level as a result of that fun. Since I learned that this exercise produces higher levels of this chemical, I have limited the amount of fun we have together now. Thanks NFL." As soon as DeMeco said he didn't hear anything about tumors, Cushing's reasoning just left the building.
As a Texans fan I could care less if the guy is telling the truth or not. I'm just tired of watching bad and mediocre teams, if he's cheating it's fine with me. If he is he needs to figure out a better way to cover it up so it doesn't hurt this team in the future.
Not really but you could make one from DMSO. Although there would be no point except to win an internet argument. If he took it, he injected it.
Yeah I think this was a mistake on his doctors part of having him on a substance that did not clear fast enough or a mistaken injection similar to the Ben Johnson case
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/7006235.html interesting update. For the sake of Cushing, this information probably should have been released before...
My dad is a cancer doctor and he said that there is actually a decent chance and that the condition he described is hardly rare like so many are saying, he says he sees it all the time and the tumors are often difficult to detect.
Cushworth doesn't have a tumor nor does he have testicular cancer - that's just something he threw out there to obscure the facts. He supposedly has an enlarged pituitary gland that causes him to have elevated levels of hCG in his system. This is something I alluded to in an earlier post. Now, if such was the case, it would have been documented either at USC or by the Texans' doctors when he came on board. The Texans' medical staff would have (or should have) notified the No Fun League about this abnormality since it would have an impact on the league's drug testing. That would have been the reasonable course of action. Instead, we have gotten a different explanation nearly every day. Now what was to be gained by keeping all of this secret? Why didn't they simply bring this out when the test results were first announced? All Cushworth and his team have managed to do is make it look like he really DID do something wrong and now Team Cushworth is in full spin cycle. It's actually gotten funny now although I still feel that if your pro team is going to get players who break the rules is it too much to expect said team to actually win something in the process?
The More he denies the worse he looks. I suppose there's a chance he's innocent, but it's much more likely that he's burying himself, just like Clemens did. Sometimes it's best just to shut up.
