I think it is going to a very competitive game. I am not expecting a blow out. It will be closer than Tulsa. S.Miss doesn't have much riding on the outcome; they are going to the Liberty Bowl, win or lose. UH has a huge stake in this game. But trust me, S.Miss is not coming here to roll over.
So, in essence, Southern Miss wins by losing. I wonder who the rest of CUSA is pulling for in this game.
The money given to a school entering a bowl game is divided up among all the schools in the conference, right?
Greatest in CUSA history? LOL. Don't forget the teams that used to play in CUSA. They've had some big games too.
They played games that resulted in the first ever BCS appearance for the conference? Don't think so...
LOL? This is by far the biggest game in CUSA history, going all the way back to 96. There has never been a title game with 2 ranked team (Hell, I think it's hard to remember any game of significance where both teams were ranked), let alone one ranked in the top 10. There has never been a team attempting to finish a perfect season. Nor has there ever been a team trying to go to a BCS bowl. And i'm pretty sure this will be the first network tv broadcast of a CUSA game *ever* He's not joking, this is the biggest game in the history of the conference.
I don't think CUSA has had a conference championship where both teams going in were ranked (can anyone confirm?). Also, I can't find another instance where a CUSA team has been ranked as highly as UH for a conference game. Closest I could find is Louisville 2004, but they hit #6 only after winning the Liberty Bowl. I don't think what I said is particularly laughable...
No. 6 in the nation, brah! City Champs, brah! Bayou Bucket Champs, brah! won the last two of three from rice, brah! 12-0, brah! Best offense in NCAA history, brah! #Brah
bigtexx's bitterness makes the whole UH football celebration all the more better. merry early christmas everyone.
Last time I checked, you were getting your munchkin ass handed to you 73-34. Besides, we're moving on up to the prettiest ugly girl contest known as the Big East... so, maybe now you won't be getting your ass kicked so bad in the tallest dwarf contest anymore.
I don't understand this logic. Your own team is in this conference, it is still the same dwarf contest or what.
Houston is only favored by 12.5. That seems like a good bet right? Southern Miss lost to UAB and Marshall. UH is also at home and playing for a BCS game.
I think it's becoming more and more obvious that biggie didn't go to Rice. Just part of his interweb persona. He hardly ever talks about their team, he just spends all his time prattling on about UH and UT. I'm betting he's a closet Aggie.
