UH website says the game has been moved to ABC. Can't recall the last time you could watch UH with rabbit ears.
Got my tickets for this game Plan for Saturday... Tailgate, game, then trip to Austin for UT's Graduation, then hit 5th street. Should be fun!!
University of Houston Statistical Rankings: Offense #1 Scoring Offense #1 Total Offense #3 3rd Down Conversion #15 Field Goal % #26 Sacks Allowed #6 Tackles For a Loss Allowed #118 Time of Possession Defense #1 Tackles for a Loss #25 Sacks #7 Turnover Margin #13 Passes Defended #16 Passes Broken Up #10 Interceptions #5 Opponent Punt Returns (opponents have only returned 6 punts all year against UH) However... #35 Red Zone Conversion #60 Total Defense #30 Scoring Defense #68 Pentalty Yards Per Game This difference between this year and 2009 is that their defense is playing to a level that allows the offense to not have to shoot-out the other team. 3 of the first 5 games were the only games UH had to pile on the points in games against UTEP, UCLA and LaTech to win. The first 5 games UH gave up 26.6 points per game with the closest margins of victory at 1, 4 and 7. Since then they have surrendered 16.8 points per game with the closest margins of victory at 30, 32 and 35. I feel confident about this team's ability to put Southern Miss away early in order to make a statement about a bowl game against the OSU/OU winner or even VaTech, Arkansas or BSU.
So pumped. I waited in line in the cold this morning to try and get a guest pass for my friend that went to Southern Miss. About 10 people away from the table the guy announces they are out of guest passes. Oh well, still got my student tickets. Go Coogs!!
I kinda like the idea of everybody in a rush for limited seats for the game, which wouldn't have happened if the game was at Reliant. It creates a lot of hype on campus. The line for student tickets this morning was awesome.
