Different rule. They always review 3's in question at the next dead ball. And they always review fouls which are in question of being flagrant or not. These don't fall under the last 2 minute rule.
That was the most significant bull**** no call. It was a huge momentum shifter and led to their 17 point lead. Really can't say how impressed I am that the team came back from that on the road against GS.
The non-review BS in the last two mins has to change. These supposed little mistakes make a huge impact in the outcome of close games. Imo, the league loses credibility for such trashy officiating that allows the officials to shif momentum from 1 team to another, kill comebacks or help destroy leads. Disgraceful trash that the NBA is with the shady goon officials. No wonder the NBA has an image problem - and it's not just thug-life players - it is the rigged league- from the commissioner on down.
With as many cameras as there are in the areas, there's no reason why some of these questionable calls can't be reviewed outside of the last two minutes, especially in the playoffs where every possession counts and the stakes are at their highest! As its already been pointed out, some of these mistakes made by the officials can result in a potential 4-point swing... these are game-changing missed/non-calls. For the life of me, I can't understand why Green isn't racking up a ton of personal fouls, flagrant fouls, and fines for his bush-league play... how does a reasonable person watch Green launch himself into someone's knees under the guise of falling down and not see that its flagrant?
Right?! Maybe it's a California thing as I recall the Clippers players screaming at the refs after just about every call against them and the refs never T'd them up.
It is what it is. We just need to overcome this and play better basketball. We made a ton of mistakes and our D looked ****ty. We need win games just win them.
That's why i quit watching. THey clearly are trying for a 7 game series. I don't know why you people still watch this stuff. It's like torture.
If you aren't watching the games in the Western Conference Finals when the team you support are playing in them, then I'm not sure what you are doing on this site.
Hmm.. I wonder how much they get incrementally for having more games to broadcast, plus ticket sales, plus advertising, etc.? And then I wonder how much more economic value they will create from having the Warriors in the series vs. the Rockets. Hawks Rockets is probably not that interesting. Hawks Warriors... still not really but moreso. Cavs Warriors definitely would draw more ratings than Cavs Rockets? I don't know if by a material difference, though. I think people would want to see Howard and Harden against Lebron and Kyrie; something novel.
Because the game has to be within 5 points at 2:00. None of them have been which is a shame really. Stupid rule that is way under inclusive in the modern game. You cam make up 6 points in about 30 seconds.
^This^ Sometimes calls you think are correct are really wrong... and vice versa But many times, a replay is nonexistent to confirm.
