Am I the only one who wants to slap the fripping mouthpiece out of Curry's arrogant, cocky self at the end of games. Looking forward to the game tonight, but not looking forward to Curry's attitude and taking free throws and running plays with his mouthpiece dangling out. Are others bothered by his arrogance and attitude or am I being too tough on the guy?
Some read it as arrogance...others as confidence...I would venture to guess that we might interpret is as the former after he drained a 28 footer...at that point I definitely want to slap it out of his mouth like a 2 year old trying to put a dirty toy in his mouth.....but I'm sure they think Harden is arrogant too...you know...stirring the pot stuff?
I don't really like it when any NBA player chews on his mouthpiece out there(Durant does it a lot too), but Curry does it so often that it almost seems like part of his in-game routine.
I want to punch him in the face. Trust me, for those who think Curry is a good guy to root for and hard to hate, you will absolutely hate him by the end of this series. You will also hate catch & shoot expert Klay Thompson, Andrew Bogut and over-rated punk Draymond Green. As much as a I hated the clippers, I was planning on rooting for them against the warriors if they got to the wcf. I get it, 67 wins is incredible but the media acts like no team has ever won 67 games before.
I am with you on this especially the 67 Wins. Like that will get the you title no matter what. I can't wait for the Rockets to prove them wrong.
I don't find it as arrogant, just annoying. It's not something I care to see. At least Harden gets the crowd stirred up (no pun intended) with his sitrring the pot routine. Nobody gets anything out of seeing Curry chew on his mouthpiece. Of course, we should probably be used to it by now, after seeing Blake do it for the past 7 games....
Steve Francis used to do this all the time, it's definitely arrogance and cockiness the amount of times he does it. There's no reason to just to chew on it and take it out all the freaking time after a (great) play.I wouldn't mind if someone made sure he lost it during the game if you catch my drift. Let's just say, if I would guard a guy like that, he would definitely lose it at some point.
I disagree. I didn't hate the Clippers last round, even when they were up 3-1(I was more upset with the Rockets at that point actually). They had a few guys I didn't like such as Barnes and Redick. But for whatever reason, I never really had a strong dislike for most of their team. Maybe it's because of their hard fought series against the Spurs(a team I definitely hate). The Warriors, on the other hand, I already despise. I've never liked Iguodala. I've always hated Barbosa dating back to his days on the Suns. I've grown to hate their star trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green. And I've never been a fan of Kerr, mostly due to him being a mediocre broadcaster and an overrated GM with the Suns. What bugs me the most about Golden State is how much the media sucks up to them. The Hawks won 60 games this season, yet no one ever talks about them. Hell, most people don't give them a prayer against the Cavs this series despite Love's injury, Irving playing hurt, and Cleveland not having home court. Yet the Warriors are already being crowned the champs by a bunch of so-called experts. At least wait til they win a title before bowing before them.
so you didn't "hate" the Clippers when Rivers stirred the pot, when Barnes trashtalked Harden's mom when they got imaginary fouls when Griffin used to flail his arms around and use them to push people away to dunk? ok sure.

I don't have a problem with it. It looks like he just developed a bad habit and is probably doing it without realizing it. Curry and Thompson don't seem like dirty players. Green and Bogut I would like to punch in the face though.
