By my counts we have 16 guys under contract if you count Wiltjer, Payton II, and Taylor. I think Morey needs to look at what he can get by packaging Beverley, Goudelock, and Brewer. I would like to see Rockets take fliers on Gerald Green and Seth Curry. PG - Curry / Payton II / Taylor SG - Harden / Gordon / Green / KJ SF - Ariza / Dekker / Green / KJ PF - Anderson / Harrell / Beasley / Wiltjer C - Capella / Onuaku Obviously this team is really young, and i'm not ready to pencil in Curry at the starting PG. But we definitely need someone at the point who can hit 3's at a higher clip. I've been saying for years we need a D. Fisher type of player next to Harden. This team is definitely going to be fighting for their playoff lives next year. Scrapping for the 8th seed at the current roster. Unless the Rockets can convince the Magic to trade Vucevic or A. Gordon (possible next Marion in MDA system) or even trading Ariza to Cavs in a package netting Love (redundant since we have Anderson already). Getting guys like G. Green and S. Curry would help with the offense, but our defense will be one of the lowest rated ones in the league. D. Morey is not done yet, let's hope he has another heist in his plans. Thoughts?
Make a trade with GS for Ian Clark. He stepped up big when Curry was out. Never gets any burn in GS. Good player.
Its probably nothing, but...........https://nykinformation.com/2016/07/04/is-brandon-jennings-trying-to-recruit-trevor-ariza/
Why would OKC do that? When we got Harden it was primarily because of the pick we got from Toronto for Lowry. If you're OKC you only deal Westbrook if you get assets you can build on. DMo might have potential, but I hate it when people do this. It would be like saying lets trade Doug Fister, Marwin Gonzalez, and Pat Neshek for Mike Trout.
Thus is interesting. But looking at the Knicks roster, they don't have single player we'd be interested in save Melo, Porkrinds, and some of the new guys they signed like Noah and Lee. Picks is all the Knicks could give. And They don't seem to care a lot about draft picks.
