Don't know about a coach, but LerBon would make a GM. If Sperm is still the commish, or much less, alive... LerBon will get his way.

    The crab trade... clause.

You kidding me? Kobe's IQ isn't that high like people tend to think. You can see it in every game where it's going down to the end and it's close, Kobe is putting up some bad contested shot over and over.

Not exactly current but I thought Kevin Johnson would've made a great coach.

    Ray Allen?

Why do people keep choosing Fisher? is it because he's a scrub on a good team? i know i have an irrational hatred for Fisher but even if i set that aside, i have a hard time believing that he could ever be more than a Patrick Ewing type of coach.

I guess pau and manu went to basketball college.

I think kobe would make a bad coach. He seems like he would have some one choke him or get into a fight with his players. I think the best coaches now days are good motivators along with knowing the fundamentals.

No votes for Ron Ron? Guy clearly has good head on his shoulders.

    Steve Nash-GM, Grant Hill-Coach

People that rely on their athleticism probably wouldn't make good coaches:

Stoudemire, Howard, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, etc.

People that rely on hard work to do well, would.

Battier, Yao (maybe), Hayes, Nash, etc.

I think Kobe would NEVER coach for the same reason Jordan said he would NEVER coach. He would demand more of his players than they were able to produce. He would demnad that every player put in the work and have the same dedication that he had/has.

Why would Nash be a good example and no one mentions Dirk or Melo?

I can see Dirk possibly, but Melo, no.

Those are players that will always be the "go-to" guy. With that mentality, I don't believe they would have the "vision" of a coach to manage an entire team of personalities and abilities.

Like others have written, a good player to coach would seem to be one who was more of a role player or one that was noticed for teamwork and leadership.

Melo is not a leader on his team. (Chauncey)

Dirk is not the real leader of the Mavs. (I think Kidd is)

Thats absolutely not true. MJ was a great defensive player and that requires high IQ.
