no... i understand the Wallace hype, he just signed a huge contract in a big market, but so did Kris Humphries... Wallace is a midlevel talent at this point. i don't feel like it's an upgrade, tbh. Prince was better defensively last year. Wallace was far below his Charlotte level, defensively. He was a great defender because of his athleticism and energy/stamina/strength. Not because of some super skills. But a lot of it is gone now... Prince also shoots better and he's about as athletic at this point as Wallace. Not to mention the winning experience. Prince's stats are simply a bit down this year because he had to create more than half of his shots because of the Pistons' point guard situation. And that's simply not what Prince should be doing. Wallace has far more strength and can post up players on offense. But that's about it. That's not really necessary for me. if you still had Deng... maybe...
dont start to lecture me.. i don't need parker.. i need some defense, passing, 3pt shooting. i have more than enough offense.. LMA is 2nd best PF... better fit to gasol
IMO jamers wins this trade and comea out with a better team... he now has a very nice fc of pierce/aldridge/gasol almost exzact same as mine except i had bynun:grin:... i understand why jvu did it, he desperatly needed a quality pg, but his team screams mediocre....
he has pretty good team IMO... Parker have the best season of his career and Monroe.. i do think he needs to trade allen for a defensive SG or flip monroe and gay to someone better.. Parker, Smith is a great project to build on..

i think in talent, Jamers overpaid. i can understand why he did it though. i think jvu got better. offensively, a ton better. but if he runs into an elite offensive post up center, he's even more vulnerable, imo. facing Bynum etc could be a killer..
You have the better team... all you have to do is find a competent pg and your set nicely... jvu needs a center... i dont likr monroe at the five, hes more suited for the four... parker/gay/smith with rayray spotting up is nice... but it lacks something... i much like pierce/aldridge/gasol(and gasol is prolly a better fit.than bynum) with afflalo spotting up... you need a pg he needs a c... pg are easier to come by...
I was thinking the same thing thats why i took my time to decide. I don't really need an upgrade at PG... kidd and Holiday can do the trick, both can defend and create for their teammates.. it's all i need from them, I agree with donatas, i overpaid. but it does make my team better, added some defense, toughness and better fit
