i'm actually thinking of starting andre miller and having wall off the bench since gibson and randolph do well in the fast break
alright. well, you have till the morning if you decide to change your mind, after that i'll have to use my picks and i'll be locked into that team pretty much. not sure why you wouldn't do it tbh, you get a similar talent who upgrades your defense significantly, lets you move Aldridge to his natural position, Smith could play 3 like he did a lot when Atlanta went big, and adds you some cap space. more risky for me, since i'm targeting Joe Johnson, not Gay, and that deal is not set in stone.
maybe. if Andre Miller was in his prime, i'd say absolutely. now, i'm not sure. at this point, Miller is better at pick and roll, but imo Wall is the better player overall, on both ends, although not by much. it's not like Wall would be useless, he's still a good player, and an elite athlete, which is a need in that starting lineup. And the team will still run, but it's just not the fastest and most athletic one besides Wall. i think it's a fair question. could go with either of them. depends on play style.

no, Chandler stays regardless. if i can't get a deal done, i'll just keep them both, sign two cheap guys and have probably the best bench. if you want more than Noah for Gay+cash, the best i can offer is T-Prince or Wes Matthews for whatever guy you don't need. I'll cut someone in free agency anyway, if this deal happens. So if you prefer one of them, you can give me someone you don't need and I'll cut him instead.
pretty big downgrade tbh. solid rebounding, nice flopping PnR defense, hustle, other than that not very good. A starter. Noah was All-Defense just a year ago, and deservedly so.
there has to be 3 mil on your side too, though. Prince or Matthews would depend on whether I get Joe Johnson or not (BigM is offline atm). If I get Johnson, you get Matthews. If I'm stuck with Gay, then Prince. They are comparable players though, both great defenders, both can shoot, Matthews a more proven shooter, while Prince looks to cut and score at the basket more, but has a reliable shot too. I think whichever you end up with, he's a great piece on your bench.
so it would be Noah/Prince for Gay+3 mil for now. But on condition that we can swap Prince with Matthews if I get Joe Johnson.
hmm. if i accept it, i'll have basically around 3 mil cap even after cutting Jennings. And I'll have 3 empty spots... that's one cheap bench.... i'll agree to 2 mil. but with that condition. i love Wes Matthews, I picked him before Tayshaun Prince. But if I get Joe Johnson, he and Matthews aren't a very good fit. hmm. Lets do it this way so both can be happy. i'll take 2 mil cash and give you Prince. But if i get Joe Johnson and want Prince back, i'll give you Matthews and 1 mil cash for him.
I'm about to go to bed. I don't like options and you can always trade me after. I'll do Matthews/Noah for gay/jennings
