    ENOUGH OF THE EXCUSES!

I don't want to hear the injury excuse - there is an old basketball saying that states that if you are strong enough to play - THEN YOU ARE HEALTHY. What does he think he is? MJ? Kobe?

Houston is not a better team with an unhealthy Francis - So sit him down if he is in pain. To his credit he has shown some heart but that is not good enough as we can see.

The problem is whether or not he's guilty of only feeding the Cat :p

Disclaimer to the slower readers on the BBS: The above comment was only meant to be a sarcastic play on words of "feed" (i.e., pass) and "cat" (i.e., Mobley), which sounded like a comment about the old common 2-man-only-game complaint about Francis-Mobley. Please don't make a reactionary argument against my point; I don't have one. May I recommend instead that you segue the discussion onto the topic of Tracy Murray. Thank you. Drive through.

IMO, even the most critical of Steve's play rarely criticize his heart. If he has a bad back, he needs to rest it. Forget the TO's, this is one time making a good decision is really critical.

One way to get out of a slump is to take a short rest. SF is no doubt in a slump, be it due to injury and whatever reason, at least his playing time got to be reduced. What's RudyT doing? He's still letting SF play long minutes, doing more harm than good to the team and also to SF's injury?

You guys see what happens when Steve is slowed down, but even at 50% he is head and shoulders above anybody we have on the bench. Maybe some of these Steve-bashers like what they see in the past few weeks considering how many of them want Steve relegated to a spot up shooter for Yao. Also, why does everyone cry for a pure pg when all they want is Steve to feed the post? Sign me up, I'll do it for much less than the max.

OK, Steve is hurting. Then why 40 minutes instead of 20 or 30?

Yes. He is hurting. He is missing all his jumpers. He is still getting rebounds...

He is still playing 40 minutes per game.

    :)

    Hopefully he gets better quick.
