custard is not supposed to be fat free. i thought it was supposed to have a higher butter fat content than ice cream. maybe it's a yogurt they are advertising.

Love Culvers - don't go there nearly enough, though I think I'll have to change that sometime this week! A concrete sounds SO GOOD right now!

    Same here. They're F'ing terrible.

I love their burgers and taquitos though. Their fries are hit and miss.

the epitome of what is wrong with america. it's not like it is a lot of food or that great either. it's just fat filled and cheap.

Considering custard is made with eggs and cream yeah its definately fattier than regular ice cream.

Its wierd hearing about Culvers in Texas. The first time I ate there was about 10 years ago in Superior Wisconsin, at that time they weren't even in Minnesota yet now they are all the way down in Texas. I think they are pretty good but expansion hasn't helped their quality since the last time I ate at one I thought it was OK but not great but the first time I had one it was one of the best fast food burgers I had had, on par with In-n-Out.

The first time I had one I stopped at one on a road trip with my then GF. She didn't really want fast food since she was a food snob but we were in a rush. She at first just wanted a few bites of my burger but after the first bite she ordered one herself.

I know I'm in this thread late, but I just got finished with the busy part of the week.

Culver's is awesome. I think they have the best tasting fast food burgers anywhere. Try it with bacon mushroom swiss. It is a lot better if you get it hot, though; it seems to lose flavor fast when it cools. I never understood the big deal about Whataburger; mediocre food and limited menu.

    Trip report: Culver's in Atascocita

Ordered a double butterburger with fries (I'm skinny, I can get away with it). Burger was solid, tasted like a better Sonic burger... only downside was that they used shredded lettuce. Fries were OK, nothing special.

I'd definitely go back - they have a ton of variety on the menu, and it's a nice, relaxing drive out there from the airport.
