He should take at least 15 shoot a game. He is shooting pretty good now.

When Morey signed Harden, he needed to pad Harden's stats to justify the big move to the owner and he put it above team winning. That's why we have seen so many ridiculous plays such as Harden was the sole starter to play in the 4th quarter, and Harden is excused from playing no defense etc. And the restriction the coaches put on Jeremy also seems for the protection of Harden's stats.

This is the most similar guard I can find, in terms of FGA and total minutes. For what it's worth. . . .

Yeah, Harden is our best player but Lin is our best PG. Lin was leading the team to -5 points in the game. But after this Harden took control of the ball and the ball movement stopped again -> TOs and forced shots.

The other thing is that we need Asik! You cant let Delfino guard the opponents center. How dumb is this???

Unrelated to Lin's shackling/shackeling, I do notice that Harden is often played way after he is needed in blowouts, even when he is coming off injuries, minor injuries to be sure, but still. Other starters, including Parsons and Lin will almost always sit before Harden does. I can't help but think this is to pad his stats, which is fine, but I'd rather Harden get some rest and not risk injury.

We have one of the most multi-cultural teams in the league.

And we have lots more problems than just the inconsistency of JLin's play and/or minutes.

How to hide Harden on defense and how best to utilize our PFs DMo and TRob should be high on the coaches' to-do list.

I missed it, when was Parsons yelling at Harden? What point in the game? I want to go watch it again.. look Harden is still the leader of the team, sure he does stupid thing just like all the other players but he has also won us many games with that style of play. His ISO play is still exceptionally efficient, I have no problem with him doing it as long as it is efficient. Parsons last game should have focused on his rebounding and defense instead.

I was mad too when Delfino was out there instead of Asik.

Delfino wasn't even hot from 3s.

Lin is as unselfish as you can get, last night I'm pretty sure McHale gave him the green light to take 20 plus shots but Lin only wanted 16 shots. McHale also took out Beverley in the 4th at like the 9 minute mark. Yes, it took longer than it should have, but it seems like now Lin has established himself as McHale's PG, now it's up to Lin.

He was walking it up at the beginning of the year. Then McHale yelled at him, and now he's pushing the ball more.

Could it be not what McHale did, but what McHale failed to do?

Could it be that this is a plan Harden inherited from the start of the season, and keeps doing when circumstances have changed (i.e. Lin is getting more comfortable with the team), which coaches should have pointed out to him but failed to do so?

The New York Jets ran 1034 offensive plays in 2012. Tim Tebow contributed (e.g. was involved either through throwing a pass, catching a pass, or taking a handoff) in 40 of them, so he was involved in a little less than 4% of their total available offense. He may have actually been on the field for more of them, but I couldn't figure out how to determine when he was on the field if he didn't participate in the play.

Jeremy Lin has played 2177 minutes out of a possible 3231 minutes this season, a little less than 68% of the maximum available number of minutes. This is a higher percentage than anyone on the Rockets except for Harden and Parsons.

This article is bad and the author should feel bad.

It's sad that not a single article, paragraph, sentence or word can
be said in favor or against Lin without this forum going bi-polar!

I personally like Lin, he's plays 110% on every play, doesn't gripe or
    have an attitude problem, doesn't have 10 baby-mommas, doesn't
make it rain, is a good teammate, doesn't retaliate when he fouls
other players elbows with his mouth, oh and by the way someone
who wants to be here! Remember he's the one who accepted the
poison pill contract, a contract that made it almost impossible for
    the Knicks to match!!

Having said all that...I'm starting to wish Lin gets traded this offseason!
Maybe, maybe then will all this nonsense stop, but just remember that
the grass isn't always greener on the other side! So be careful what
    you wish for!

I said this article was moronic already. But if you wanted attention you have to learn to take the good with the bad. Embrace it all. Can't have just a specific type of attention.

It was in the second half when Houston was making there run. Harden had just crossed the timeline then he passed it to Parsons on the left wing & parsons didn't catch the ball & it went out of bounds. harden was pissed that he didn't catch it but there was little time on the clock

    I agree.

The Rockets should trade Harden for a pack of chips because he is a fake all-star unlike great leader Jeremy Lin.

Maybe the Rockets should trade him for Landry Fields? I hear he is good human. Let Harden stat pad with fat Lowry whiles Rockets win championships behind great leader Jeremy Lin.

The team should have trade Jeremy Lin in this year's trade deadline. Their refusal to do so is a disservice to the team and to Jeremy Lin. He doesn't fit.

    Trade him for cap space.
