    sports2012,

i can't say it's the case for everyone. but the reason lin had hot hand (% wise) is he is smart kid and knows when to shoot and when to pass. he won't shoot 100 times if the chance isn't there. had other team let lin free and open, he would have taken all shots.

the article is not about how many min he should play and how many shots he should take. it's about whether he will be trusted as one of three best players on his team and a core group on his team (I add Asik. it should be 4).

What gets me the most about T-Rob is that I don't think he has a natural position. He seems lost at the 4. I think thats what the kings said when they traded him too.

I wonder how much our Rocket players are assaulted by Lin fans on their online profiles such as twitter.

Lol. Wouldn't be surprised. It's not the first time I've asked Clutch to be more fair (which is admittedly unfair to him cuz he's a fan like anyone else). I don't mean to argue with the big boss or anything but I'd say this to whomever made these comments.

I read the article thinking, .. Yeah, that's a good point... Wait a minute, Parsons gets spoon-fed?? Come on 16 shots is not a small amount.. but I am happy to hear somebody in the media talk about the lack of trust in Jeremy this year outside of this forum cuz I sure would love to have our pg play in the fourth consistently, only to have the arbiter of this site pretty much call everyone stupid for even vaguely agreeing with this article.

The article is ridiculous. When I saw it I didn't know what was going through Clutch's mind but I had a feeling it was posted out of irony.

The rockets do need to run screen and rolls for Lin on his midrange game though.

he is too raw to be evaluated at all. once i wrote he is too short when he stood next to mchale. i was bombarded with all good pf's heights. but at least it helps me to know how high all good pfs are in nba histry.:grin::grin:

    Haymitch,

    It's pure jealousy.

Since Clutch keeps it real as a Rockets fan, he gets to talk to Lin whenever he wants. Lin knows that Clutch is there to talk about Rockets basketball and not to drool over Lin or dance Gangam style whenever he sees him.

Like the Linsanity movie, there's like 3 people who saw it. I was there. Why? Cause I kept it real, I was there for the movie. It was not a fan club. They want to know if the movie was good.

The moral of the story is that Rockets fans always keep it real.
And Lin or whomever will always respect people who keep it real.

I also found it interesting as to why this article was posted despite being called the work of a "troll."

    Tinman...
All I did was ask someone to not call people stupid for agreeing with an article. Smh. I'm a multi-millionaire with two beautiful sons, a wonderful wife and a successful business who happens to love the sport I've been fanatical about since I fell in love with The Showtime Lakers in the 80s.
What is all this childishness about jealousy? Really? How old are you? I get the defending of Clutch but at least know when it is necessary and learn to criticize correctly without acting like a high school kid.

Coincidently, Jason Friedman is discussing the same article with some fan on Twitter right now. Maybe it's just me but his tone seemed a little snappish as of late. IIRC, after Lin sat out 4Q in a game & Lin fans flooded him with angry tweets, some fan asked if he was ok and Jason went on this 3-4 tweet rant about how he didn't need sympathy. Poor fan! But again, who can blame him?

None I think. I remember Ho Chen reported from Lins event during the All Star Break & said that a lot of Lins fans are still fans of Steve Novak & support him via twitter. From what I noticed they seem to save all of there vitriol for the media & management & coaches.

    Ringo,

I'm proud of you and Yolanda is proud of you too.

The article is ridiculous, that's why he posted it. An example of something that's not real.

I call people stupid if they think 1+1=3. You have to say something or else people will not learn.

This article is pretty stupid and people who agree with it are stupid.

Seriously though, its kind of funny you posted that. I think I've known about Lin far longer than most of his worshippers. I think someone posted an article on CF his first year at Harvard and some of his high school plays way way back while I was a lurker. A lot of these people now are bandwagon Knicks fans.

What's up with everyone having so much money? Even here on CF, I see people often boasting of their wealth or talking non-chalantly about their abundance of expensive crap.

Why don't I have that money? Where can I get it? I want it. Tell me where to go. I'll drive there in my old crappy 4 cylinder Ford and will now frequently start absurd threads where I insist that Jeremy Lin isn't getting a fair shake in Houston despite being handed the starting job from day 1. I'll do it, I swear. Dignity or coherence mean nothing to me. I just want the money.

He is too raw but our whole philosophy upto this point has been you earn your PT. The rockets need to be consistent on their message.

Anyway back to basketball. This is very accurate.

Also a previous poster was right that when parsons was completely hot for those 5 games. There was one game in particular where neither Lin nor harden passed to him in the final quarter & a few people thought that was odd too. This article really doesn't have much logic to stand on.

He can be a trillionaire for all that maters, that doesn't make him a Rockets fan.

Clutch has built a relationship with the Rockets because they recognize he's pure. they know Clutch City is in his heart and no amount of money could make him sell out.

He built this site talk to Rockets fans like you and me. He lets some fake fans in the house as long as they don't break anything or dirty it up. But it seems like the Lin fans aren't respecting the house.
