Hmmm, don't we have a HOF player coaching the team? There sure are plenty of people here saying McHale doesn't know basketball.

    Hmmm......

When respected posters start acting like noobs for entertainment purposes, then you might as well just end the thread of any real conversation.

This place has enough issues. We don't need to compound the problem.

I wouldn't take any writer who calls the Rockets offense "the Jeremy Lin Offense" very seriously... Also:

I'm pretty sure someone's gonna take offense for that...

I read somewhere long time ago that if Lin plays like Tebow, then Lin's passes would sail into the crowd every time...

The writer nailed a few issues with the 'rotation'.

Lin's minutes needs to go up, instead it has gone down over the course of the season. The question is, is it intentionally done to save his legs? Lin does look very fatigue in the game when he plays long stretches.

Another issue that i agree with the writer is the number of shot attempts, but then again is this by design or is Lin simply deferring too much? He's averaging about 10.7 attempts per game for the season. That's about 6-8 attempts less than the elite PG in the league. His FG % for the month of March is above .500 which should definitely warrant MORE attempts but instead it's less than the prior month. If you look at the both games lost to Phx (by2) & Dallas (by4) in the month of March, if Lin would had taken 2-3 MORE shots the Rockets 'might' have won both those games.

Though there's nothing in the article that the general Rockets fans don't know now, and it's the LOFs who were sensitive enough to be the first to bring this up against a lot of undue pounding, information and opinions like this are still relatively contained in this small circle of our CF forum here.

I hope articles by outsiders like this will start bringing more attention to beyond the coaching staff level, so the coaches will feel more pressure to re-evaluate the situations and got out of their box and inertia which has been so obvious to us fans except themselves.

If we miss the playoffs and waste the previous efforts this season, the coaches would have no one to blame but themselves.

Time is of the essence now.

The GSW game was a very important game in terms of Playoff positioning. Throughout his BB career Lin usually had a habit of playing his best when the pressure was high or when the opponent is strong. In a way, this can also be a weakness, because he did not shine when playing against weaker teams.

Seems to me giving a guy who takes less than 11 shots a game 16 shots IS feeding the hot hand.

When Parsons was hot(9-13) against GS in the last game, he only got one more shot than average.

When Harden was hot(11-17) in the loss to phoenix, he got his average number of shot, although he may have had a few more if not for his 8 TO.

im usually hard and lin and have been someone to say that he needs to develop but Lin has shown me something lately that he is a budding STAR....

in retrospect he should have been a top 5 pick and he needs more shots if we are going to make the playoffs and make a run....

if teams have to respect all three of our perimeter players it opens up the game for our entire roster...
