Bansky directed the intro to last night's show on 10/10/10. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DX1iplQQJTo?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DX1iplQQJTo?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> http://gizmodo.com/5660618/the-simpsons-title-scene-secretly-created-by-bansky
Watched a ton of Simpsons when I was little. I cannot fathom why a parent wouldn't let their kid watch it. We had recorded a few episodes, but the only one I remember is when the Nuclear Power Plant lost its dental plan. I can hear in my head now: Lenny: So long dental plan! Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Lenny: ... dental plan... Marge: Lisa needs braces... Homer: If we lose our dental plan... I'll have to pay for Lisa's braces!!

They sell them in groups. I think I have a dvd of the first 8 halloween episodes Its amazing, now that seth mcfarlan has pretty much taken over fox Sunday night, the simpsons is once again the top show on that channel
man i grew up watchin the simpsons! i saw it everyday at 5:30 & 6:30....my mom didnt really mind me watchin it, she was just annoyed cause i told her about the episodes i saw everyday haha
This has to be the darkest opening gag in Simpsons history. I can't believe Emperor Murdoch let this slide. <object width="512" height="288"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/yahoo/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hulu.com%2Fwatch%2F184048%2Fthe-simpsons-moneybart/embed/gz1BFfyjhpJIA6Kj_5km6g"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/yahoo/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hulu.com%2Fwatch%2F184048%2Fthe-simpsons-moneybart/embed/gz1BFfyjhpJIA6Kj_5km6g" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="288" allowFullScreen="true"></embed></object>
Yeah that is pretty dark. Off topic, the new Simpsons episodes just aren't the same, I almost never laugh. They can't touch the Simpson's episodes from the 90s, those were halarious.
That happens with any show that has been on too long. South Park, Family Guy, and the Simpsons all suck now. The only cartoon comedy I enjoyed throughout was King of the Hill
ALL these show sux, especially south park especially the simpsons They all had their moments but it's been downhill for as long as i can remeber
Why am I quoted on this thread? But I saw the into on my lunch break and found it strangely neat. Pretty weird considering I haven't seen any new episode in like 4 years. The show has been God awful now. Still one of my favorite shows of all time though. The only cartoon with its manner that actually made me tear up during a couple of episodes. "And Maggie Makes Three" still tugs on my heart so much.
You run out of stories when they're so grounded in reality. Probably the most ongoing joke in that show was the propane and propane accessories line, but it still never felt as repetitive a punchline as the peter v chicken fights.
