I've skimmed through this thread and this is the best post. Its a stupid prank and it was also stupid of that lady and her family to react the way they did to.
Because she got pranked and didn't know it was tied to a string? How did you miss this little detail? If she just came back on foot again they would've just yanked the string again to keep the bag away from her. So she hid in her car and drove over it instead.
You don't think the other people were embarrassed? Excuses is what causes justifications of wrong deeds. I'm sure she has one too.
Racism and entitlement are 2 very different things. I've got a father-in-law that makes Archie Bunker look like MLK but works very hard at everything he does and is monetarily successful. And I have a brother-in-law that is that thinks he's entitled to everything and yet he is the least monetarily successful person in the family. You can be both but 1 does not mean the other is present.
Having spent 14 of my 25 years in a black neighborhood, black people are sensitive pit bulls that can't take joke. What is there to argue about here? Notice that all other victims of the prank were good sports about it.
