Culture Map: Jeremy Lin Benching Reaches New Heights of Insanity

    Over the summer its clear that Jeremy has worked on his 3pt shot and offhand dribble but as it stands Beverley fits in much better with the starting line up. You can either have Lin OR Harden starting, you can't have both. Both players need the ball to be effective. Lin has shown that he can score with the best of them but we can't defend at all when their both on floor. Lin lacks lock down lateral mobility and Harden.. well who really knows whats going on with Harden. He may be injured and may not be able to shift his movement laterally as well (but that doesn't hamper his ability to Eurostep or jab step-fake).

    I do think we have a better team with Lin coming off the bench and possibly closing games but this team as a whole needs to be more connected defensively. It starts with our best player setting the example and so far Harden hasn't stepped up to the plate. Hopefully we can get our team healthy, I wouldn't mind having Asik out there for the back up minutes at center, even if he is pouting about playing time.
