SEE!! so why would us Texans waste the #1 pick on VY? if Reggie Bush or Leinart was around EVERY OTHER team would take them.

Because NO signed Brees everybody is thinking Leinart might go to the Titans so basically that shows

    HOUSTON HAS VY OVERRATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!

Every other team let Tom Brady fall to the end of the sixth round. Wow, I guess that proved he wasn't good.

By the way, why should we take Bush? You told us all season Carr was the problem.

This definitely shakes things up. NO should definitely be looking to trade up for Bush or trade down for extra picks.

They won't be trading up, they have Deuce and since we have their 3rd this year, they need picks. This has all the makings of a Saints-Jets trade so the Jets can get Leinart and the Saints add picks and still get their man in Mario Williams.

Please stop with this its old and played out. I don't hate UT or their players, read some of my other posts. My dislike for Vince has nothing to do with UT. Please get over that.

I think this is good for both teams, although, both coming off surgery...

This does make it harder to trade down unless someone really wants BUSH...

Dolphins good; Saints will, I believe, improve markedly on their '05 record; do NOT underestimate Philip Rivers. Dude can ball.

I really did just put you on ignore because all you do is try and start problems and irritate people. I have no problem with UT or its athletes. I don't like Vince Young. And people like you make it so easy to hate him even more. :D

So part of your hate of an athlete is based on some unrelated guy on a message board. That's just brilliant.

I lied about the ignore. Final response to this, I just never liked him. I don't like anything about him. Kinda like I hate Carmelo Anthony and Marquis Daniels with a passion.

People who pump him up and hype him make it worse. Like Espn after the Rose Bowl against Michigan. I am entitled to dislike athletes right? Sweet ok I hate Him, Marquis Daniels, Carmelo Anthony, BJ Symons and Byron Jones (old A&M corner)

He doesn't really seem to bear much resemblance to those individuals other than being black and an athlete, but that's just my opinion.

Back on track for a minute....

The more I think about it, the more the Drew Brees signing is strange to me. Why would the Saints invest so much on a somewhat proven NFL quarterback who just had a bad shoulder injury when they have Leinart available? Brees can be a good quarterback and possibly even a pro bowler, but who knows how that shoulder injury will affect him, and Leinart has the potential to be great. And would be cheaper initially.

Only thing I can think of is that Leinart let the Saints know that he DID NOT want to go to New Orleans. So they explored other options and went with Brees.

Or they don't have Leinart rated that highly and think that Brees is the better QB.
