They won't be trading up, they have Deuce and since we have their 3rd this year, they need picks. This has all the makings of a Saints-Jets trade so the Jets can get Leinart and the Saints add picks and still get their man in Mario Williams.

I think this is good for both teams, although, both coming off surgery... This does make it harder to trade down unless someone really wants BUSH...

He doesn't really seem to bear much resemblance to those individuals other than being black and an athlete, but that's just my opinion.
Back on track for a minute.... The more I think about it, the more the Drew Brees signing is strange to me. Why would the Saints invest so much on a somewhat proven NFL quarterback who just had a bad shoulder injury when they have Leinart available? Brees can be a good quarterback and possibly even a pro bowler, but who knows how that shoulder injury will affect him, and Leinart has the potential to be great. And would be cheaper initially. Only thing I can think of is that Leinart let the Saints know that he DID NOT want to go to New Orleans. So they explored other options and went with Brees.
