I'm here in Chicago as most of you know, and this has the city goin NUTS. It's awesome for me, because it's fun to see sox and cubs fans go at it. If your not from here, you woulnd't understand, even though the Sox won the series last year, 75%+ fans still root for the Cubs. No clue why.
why on earth would you charge nolan ryan? that's just asking for a beating... with all due respect to him, i don't think anything can beat dude who kicked the catcher then runs to the mound in full kung-fu circle mode. that was amazing.
The Kung fu guy was r****ded. The kick was a cheap shot then he runs onto the field bouncing around like a fool without even knowing who he wants to fight. Was funny though.
Not from Chicago or a baseball historian, but I think more fans root for the Cubs because: 1) More "successful" franchise over time. 2) WGN - Harry Caray 3) North side - neighborhood around Wrigley is cool while its a ghetto around Comiskey. 4) Wrigley 5) National League town.
I actually think Barret is the major ass. I can't stand that player. I love how Roy O schooled him in their confrontation. Watching Barret get run over by AJ was awesome. I love to see the Cubbies sucking .... Screw Chicago. Go STROS.
