    I dislike Cuban because I think 90% of what he does is designed to call attention to himself, and he takes away from his team in the process. But I often agree with his stance on issues. Jim Gray is one of those - Gray is an idiotic instigator who would say anything to get a more sensational story.

    I'm pretty much in line with this thinking. I think Cuban is a drama queen / whiny b**** extraordinaire, but Gray is the worst. It's nice to bring in a ringer like Cuban to do this dirty work.

    It takes a brave and weasly man to say that to Karl Malone's face. Granted, Gray would have collected a fortune if Karl had turned tiger to Jim Gray's Siegfried and Roy ("RRROOOARR!!" "Augh! Help! Help! gack!").

    But Jim Gray would have needed a huge monetary settlement from Karla's assaulting him, if only to pay for life support for the rest of his life.

    Didn't he just get it from Reggie Miller 1-2 months ago for trying to force Reggie's hand on the retirement announcement, and effectively stealing the scoop from Reggie's sister Cheryl?

    While there has to be SOME type of criteria that they use, I am under the impression that most people get their stars like this. Basically, be fairly famous (which Jim Gray is NOT), and pay some cash...
