Cuban sounds like a lot of fans here complaining about the refs after a loss.

don't get me wrong, i haaaaate the mavericks. but i do like cuban, i wish he was the owner of any other team (besides the jazz obviously). i think his attitude if that of a real fan. he is living out all of our dream of owning a real team and he doesn't act like all the other billionaires and fall in line with the commish's standards all the time and i think its amazing.

with this particular thing i think its hilarious how quick so many people are on here to call him all sorts of names and pass all kinds of judgments on him for doing what we, and our announcers, do every single night. NBA officiating is a problem, and we all know that. why can everyone else say it but when cuban says it its just ridiculous?

He's right, though. The officials did mess up a number of calls.

    - Terry called for a clear-path foul on Lowry (how was that clear path?)
    - no flagrant foul on Kidd, missed the technical on Tim Thomas, Andersen didn't do anything wrong
    - end of regulation, the Mavs clearly should have gotten more than 0.4 on the clock.
    - the flagrant on Brooks against Dampier was dumb. that's a routine play.
    - Dampier's reaction didn't warrant a technical

On the replay it looked like the ball hit the floor with .9 or 1.0 seconds on the clock. Either way it was more than .4

Last night's game was horribly officiated both ways -- it's games like this that are ruining the NBA. Three plus hours, long breaks in the action, cheap fouls stopping the flow, etc, etc, etc.

where the hell did you put your rose colored glasses?
anyways I agree with you on everything...
i'm wondering if they called dampier's technical because they realized brooks' flagrant wasn't a flagrant and they were just giving a "make-up call". this way they don't have to undo brooks flagrant and look even more stupid..

My point exactly. His b**** ass wants to protest how about that fixed series they had against us in 05. I hate everything in Dallas.

The mavs were mad because they were playing the best basketball they could and giving it all they got and couldn't seem to catch up to the little rockets. What happens is when you beet a team twice you think it's gonna be a walk in the park. That's why kid ran into David with agression, he was balling before that and got pissed that he couldn't catch up.

Kidd threw a more vicious looking elbow than Ariza did. He deserves a suspension.

Ok guys the league has reviewed the game and here's what they had to say to Mr. Cuban...

"OK Mark we see why you are upset so we have a deal for you -- we will replay the final 1.0 seconds of this game BUT were also gonna have to replay games 5 6 and 7 of the 05 playoff series.... deal?

After a long and serious thought, Cuban declines.

Dumbass needs to stop betting on his team. Sure, he won last time. But you will never win an extravagant payout.

I have a question, If the Mavs had one, would he still be protesting the game, or was he mad because a team without a "star" beat his team?

Did we file a protest for that or was that not allowed by the NBA?

    So I'll ask again...

What are the actual possible outcomes of this? Is there a chance we would somehow lose the 'W'? Does anyone have an idea?
