Why wouldn't he also get the 8 minutes behind Parsons?

That's 16 a game. You can give him another 5, because Harden plays 38 and Parsons 37. So that's 21 a game. Up from the 16 he's getting now at least.

Is Morey going to pay someone $6m/yr to 2016 to 'at best' play 20 min a game?

Last I checked, McHale is still the coach of the Rickets, and Morey is still the GM and we still can't be paying that salary for 20min at most per game to 2016 no matter how well Lee did under McHale before.

And he can't really defend most SFs.

Lee is 6'5. That is ideal height for SG if you have a decent wingspan. For SF, it's a little short and Lee isn't the well-built type either.

He wouldn't even pay Dragic $7.5m/yr for 4 years

We had Kevin Martin and Lowry had injury and Parsons wasn't polished and Bud wasn't a McHale type of player.

You can't be sure Lee will get big minutes under McHale with this current team.

Infatuation with playing Harden/Parsons 40 min and Beverley 30+.
