    AT&T is evil...

    Then again, they are evil.

I'm good as long as it gets on Dish or Direct. I can't get ATT reasonably where I live. I'm with Dish but been on month to month for a while. I'd have no issues swapping to Direct for Houston teams. I would bet if it gets on Direct, Dish would be close behind.

My guess is it will depend on the re organization. If they hold onto the current agreements then Comcast is already under contract to carry it. I those change then I guess they have to renegotiate with them.

Comcast could have bought the network, but if they did then other competitors ( DirecTV and At&t) would have been scared off and would not provide the channel to its customers

I think it means Comcast has had over a year to buy the network and negotiate distribution fees with other networks exclusively but hasn't shown interest in doing so up to this point

Teams say Comcast had opportunity to buy network at fair price. They didn't. Comcast objections now are to try to prevent buyer from obtaining network at fair price so Comcast can buy network at reduced price.

(6). While the teams are good with the offer, Comcast has questions. It believes the process is moving too quickly and in unfair fashion.

Ummm...are you freaking kidding me?!? Moving too quickly compared to what; glaciers melting?

Translation: Comcast has had close to a year to buy the network but hasn't done so. Now that Astros/Rox have found a buyer, Comcast is trying to torpedo the deal because they'd still like to buy it at bargain basement price.

Comcast is still the largest singular provider in Houston. The teams likely will still want any agreement to include their coverage as well.

I would agree and I would think Comcast would probably want this, as well. If other carriers had the channel and they didn't, they would be subject to the same switching practice they tried to employ to get people to change to their service.

Csn has a carriage agreement with comcast. There is no offer on the table that will void that agreement. I mean it is possible but that would severely devalue the network.

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of a certain poster to rip Comcast a new one for arguing they shouldn't have to act in the best interests of the network. I'd hate to think there's a double standard around here.

So Comcast votes "NO", then what?

Are we going to be able to watch Rockets game on TV next season or what? This is ridiculous. Why deal with Comcast in first place when things like this has been going on?

Comcast should have to act in the best interests of the Network. If the Judge thinks they aren't Comcast should get the scolding the Astros got from him.

It seems like the potential buyer may be willing to make an offer. Not sure if that means buying out the teams or Comcast. I'm good either way as long as we get closer to full carriage.
