It is going to be very interesting next season.

 

I don't know how anyone can be mad at Lin. A lot of players would make excuses for the way he performed in the playoffs, especially if they had one as convenient as that injury. He didn't. He owned up to his subpar performance and is dedicated to improving. I hope he pans out. I can't help but root for the kid.

 

Only Western Conference Final? Harden is a man with little ambition for victory and big ambition for buttocks.

 

He's being realistic. Even then, the WCF is a stretch. Add howard and everything changes.

the team is a decent PF away from being a second round team and a good PF away from being a potential WCF team as currently constructed.

Getting Howard of course changes that

 

Damn, I knew he would get some backlash for the WCF quote. As someone else has said, I think he is being realistic. If we make some splashes over the summer that should change.

He knows first hand what we are up against in Miami and Oklahoma. We need more talent and depth to be able to compete with those teams.

 

That's why he's my favorite player.

I think aiming for the WCF next season is a really good goal to start out with. The most successful people are the ones who know how to take things one step at a time, instead of expecting to achieve their ultimate goal immediately, rushing things, and ultimately failing.

In regards to the WCF quote...Harden must really be thinking someone big is going to be signing with us. I can't see us making it that far with the roster as is.

Hard to cheer against Lin. Owns up to his play, does not blame it on the injury, and promises to improve the areas in his game which are not up to par. Love it.

McHale...I know I've been guilty of hating on him but...he's a hell of a likeable guy. I think he deserves to stick around a few more years.

i dont think theres any problem with him setting WCF as the goal, although i dont think the set goal at this point means much of anything until we see the roster we will be heading into the start of the season with. Hell, i remember Melo saying at the start of the year that for the Knicks, "anything short of the ECF will be a disappointment".

 

I hope I will be cheering for Jlin here next season.
