Late 80s it was def Wildflower and Love Removal Machine primarily, but they still played Rain and Sanctuary quite a lot (esp Sanctuary remix).
1 is a Dr. Ruth book, 5 are for backyard model rockets. 2 are random. Not sure why google ads thinks of you that way.
I remember people racing 100 mph down Westheimer in the early 2000's. The police were so slow to crack down on this. Since I lived my life a quarter mile at the time I didn't really care too much back then, but now I do. I pay taxes and am a part time member of Kiwanis now.
It was fun and wild but once the vatos and knuckleheads started fighting against the guys with hairspray on the sidewalks....it ruined it.
Not that wild. I was part of the pool scene in the late 80s and westheimer was pretty much like it is now. I used to go to slick willies down there. you heard stories about how wild numbers was. Montrose was supposed to be the gay area of town so all the gay guys talked about that.
Oh damnnnnnnnnnn. That's weird I just posted the same vid of Front 242 in the Numbers doc thread. Odds of that happening are pretty damn small.
Westheimer races was in the 90’s on the stretch between 8 and 6. I worked at Fuddruckers in that area early 90’s and driving home after closing up was dangerous. I was too young for any 80’s scene on Westheimer proper.
