The thing is, his cult following will remember this part of history differently. They will remember it as a time Trump led the world in the least deaths of any country in the world tackling the pandemic. The select rich ones will remember it as the time they made billions off the pandemic. The future generations of white supremists and racists will remember it as the time their fathers and grandfathers (Trump's Patriots), drove to other states with their guns to protect the white people of America from those looting dangerous black protesters. They will remember it as the time their ancestors were bankrupt from a hoax pandemic because radical leftists wouldn't let their businesses open up, even when the virus only killed old people.
Sure, but that isn't the majority of people. I get what you are saying, but that won't be the main stream narrative. Just look at Nixon.
Oh, you are right. The majority will call this time the biggest failure of a President in history. He will be remembered in disgust.
Trump makes Nixon seem like a good guy at this point. He has taken negligence and corruption to a whole new level.
This ADMIN: Separating families is higher priority than serious felony cases such as sex offenders. The draft report also documented other revelations that had not previously been known: Government prosecutors reacted with alarm at the separation of children from their parents during a secret 2017 pilot program along the Mexican border in Texas. “We have now heard of us taking breastfeeding defendant moms away from their infants,” one government prosecutor wrote to his superiors. “I did not believe this until I looked at the duty log.” Border Patrol officers missed serious felony cases because they were stretched too thin by the zero-tolerance policy requiring them to detain and prosecute all of the misdemeanor illegal entry cases. One Texas prosecutor warned top Justice Department officials in 2018 that “sex offenders were released” as a result. The failure to inform the U.S. Marshals Service before announcing the zero-tolerance policy led to serious overcrowding and budget overruns. The marshals were forced to cut back on serving warrants in other cases, saying that “when you take away manpower, you can’t make a safe arrest.
And as with everything else with trump and his administration, lying, corruption, cruelty is a product feature...
Yea, this didn’t happen under Obama. That was how some trump supporters were able to look away, thinking that it did. More recent reports also indicate this was intentional pain and harm done so that those parents think twice about coming over.
? Let.me guess. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what was wrong with Trump's policy relative to other adminstrations.
