    Reasons we lost

Utah out hustled us for the loose balls/gave them too many second chance pts

BJ was not knocking down shots he usually hits

Landry has fallen off big time, does not produce the way he used to, now he is turning the ball over and he is not finishing around the basket when he first did, this is why coach hesitated to put him back in until late 3rd

    Missed way too many FTS

Tmac played GREAT!! in the first half, then in the second half he started going back to shooting low percentage shots, all though some were good looks, they were not going in.

And lastly, nobody on the rockets can hold Deron Williams, he is the quickest guy I seen move with the ball, lmao he mad bjax fall lol

We need Rafer back also ASAP, it showed how we missed him tonight, Rafer would of hit the shots BJ wasnt

I love our players as good character guys, but that old adage nice guys finish last is sticking to me.

Simply put, we've got too many specialty players and not enough all around players. It kinda handcuffs Adelman when he makes substitutions. Against crappier teams its no problem but the better teams expose that weakness. I guess I am thinking specifically of Novak and Hayes. Those 2 are too one dimensional to be effective against a good team in a 7 game series.

The one where he refused to come off the floor for a substitution by Chuck?

Yes, that was definitely a momentum killer.

I am mad at our fans. There was at least 6 more minutes left in the game even though we were down by 13 or 16 but in the playoff anything could happen then I saw our fans started leaving their seat. I bet the Jazz fan probably laugh at us right now and say even the Rockets fan did not have faith in their team how the Rockets would have faith in themselves. Our fan is so sad they only thing of themselves not for the sake of the team. People like that might as well stay home just do not come to the game because they make me like to throw up.

I gave up on Houston fans a long time ago (granted, I still get pissed).

Same thing happened after the 22 game winning streak.

Oh, and empty seats. Seriously, why??

This series is over!! The Rockets should consider major deals in the offseason right now. I think it's time to consider dealing Tmac and shuffle the rosters. Keep Scola, Landry, Battier and Bobby. Everyone else can be deal. It's time this team need a legit PG and bring in some decent players.

This team is just lacking major talents.

BTW- it's replaying on ESPN 2 if you missed it, or if you want to dissect it further.

You can see the terrible fouls...

And you can see the points where the game gets away for good.

I know the Rockets got to the line more... but in the first half there were horrible calls against Houston... it was a killer for momentum.

Novak didn't not matter one bit whether he was on the court or not. He did alright and if you want to know the truth of it. Didn't touch the ball enough.

    The Key to the game

Adleman taking Mutumbo out after that monster block he made. He didn't want to come out of the game and we had just tied up the score.

Look Van Gundy never had a problem playing Mutumbo more than 35 min per game last year. What in the heck is Adleman trying to save Mutumbo for??? With Mutumbo in there, we at least had rebounding, a defensive presence and great shotblocking. Give Mutumbo the ball up close and he'll at least dunk the ball. He's playing like a 25 year old. Let Mutumbo tell Adleman when he's tired.

When Mutumbo came out of the game, I could see our team collapse. We got abused by Kirlenko and Boozer driving the lane and without Mutumbo in there, they kept coming and there was nothing we could do about it. Mutumbo was the key and unfortunately for whatever reason, Adleman pulled him out and did not put him back in until about the 9:45 mark in the 4th qtr. Then pullled him out again.

I think the staff will find that when they study the tape that this is exactly what happened.

Look this is the playoffs, leave the guy in there. Sure he's 42 years old but so what. If Van Gundy can play him 40 plus minutes then so be it. So can Adleman.

Not one moment, but we sucked at foul shots as usual....

But yes the critical moment would be the substitution of Novak (followed by the substitution of Deke after his huge block)

Of course the main reason was offense which sucked all the way.

But I think the critical moment could be in the 3rd. We got back in the game, we even had 1 pt lead after T-Mac's free throw. And than a jumper by Kirilenko, two great positions for Korver from long range which he knocked down and the game was over.

Novak shouldn't have played. He is a shoter but his game generally SUCKS. He may be effective in RS but not in the playoffs.

When the refs entered the arena.

Remember the Jazz killed the Spurs by 26 about two weeks ago? And what did the Spurs do to the Jazz this past week? Returned the favor.

Williams driving across mid-court, BJacks on his right, Boozer or Okur standing still on his left, Williams slams into his own player like a hard pick, thrown off balance and jostles against Bjacks lightly on the other side. Foul Bjacks.

FT's by Jazz late in game Mutombo close for us, Boozer next to him for Jazz, on the rebound Boozer pushes Mutombo from good position underneath to out of bounds, puts the ball back up and scores. Call? No.

End of 2nd half Boozer deliberate elbow into Deke's back pushing him out of position to steal the long pass - as Scola said should have been shooting foul as Boozer deliberately disrupted a steal.

I could go on and on with similar recitations. The league office for officiating is going to want to bury this tape as fast as possible - smells like doo-doo.

Either we pull the cheap shot Bob move he did to Nash last year on Deron, or we go home. Simple as that.

RA - you got the heart? Can we get Vernon paroled for two months?

We do need a power forward with height and meat on his bones, a real point guard, and an enforcer. Where did Deke put his elbows? Did JVG take them with him when he left?

    T. McGrady 7-21
    B. Jackson 3-15

Poor shot selection cost the Rockets the game.

How do you expect to win if the two ball hogs on the team shoot at 33% and 20% respectively?

The critical moment was the third quarter. We went from leading to being behind double digits.

I came to the forum just to say this. Novak sucked, badly. Then, for some god awful reason, he was holding Ak47 and Battier was holding Korver??? WTF

But, we have to finish, make our free throws, etc. But that was definitely the momentum killer.........

If they are gonna foul us dirty all game long then we have to return the favor. No easy shots for them. If Boozer goes to the rack, then hit him in the face. If Kirelinko goes for a dunk, push his body out of the way. If Sloan believes in fouling, then we have to be the same way. Lets see how far the refs will let us go.

The puzzling thing is why Novak continued in the game even though he got no shots. He was brought in there to space out the floor and make some open shots, but the Jazz defense weren't scared by him. So why keep him in there?
