People who usually have something to defend about are the same ones who talk smack on forums. Ever occur to you guys that maybe it wasn't this guy who lost his phone but somebody else? why would he take his own picture if he was doing illegal activities?

Not exactly backing Cheeno up, but I can see why shoulder bags can be more prevalent among men in China (and Europe) for two reasons. Public Transportation is still pretty common in Europe and China, which means you still have to walk everywhere, which means there is no convenient glove compartment/trunk to put your stuff in when you're out. You need something to help you carry random crap. People still use cash for a lot of transactions. Banking, especially in the bigger cities, have gotten better but a lot of transactions are still done with good ol' paper cash. It freaks me out but I've seen people pay for a down payment on a condo in cash or buy a car with cash. Try walking around with $50K in cash in smaller bills (Chinese Yuan maxes out at 100 which is about $15) and not have it in some bag of one form or another. They DO NOT fit fine in a wallet.

Its a culture thing. There isn't anything wrong with it. It makes easier to pack guns, knives and pliers without wearing baggy pants. I think it has more to do with Asian and Europeans being more into fashion. I see a lot more men in Asia and parts of Europe wearing LV, prada, and Armani. More metrosexuals over there.
Yeah my bad, I guess its just me being cranky. Didn't mean anything by it at all. After i watched Jason Smith bulldoze Blake Griffin last night it made it all better
I have a really small laptop bag, but my super mini netbook broke, so now it's just a purse I carry around. Glad to at least know now that I can carry it around like a gangsta.
