Saying this implies that Creed : 1) Plays Rock n Roll. They do not. 2) Has enough talent to be categorized as a "band" or some other type of musical act. They do not. Therefore, it is innaccurate to refer to Creed as either a "band" or "rock".
Simple advice for you weirdoes who are obsessed with hating this band: 1. Turn the radio when they come on. 2. Don't read magazine articles about them. 3. Turn from MTV when they show a video or interview. 4. Get over it. I don't like them either, but jeez.

(which, btw, would have to be, like, a bi-sexual's dream no...? is this thing on?) anyway, the lesson, as always when discusing music, is to never, ever, never run to record sales as a basis for anything beyond proving that the vast majority of record buyers are unconscious, tastless, integrity-lacking sheep.
Actually even though I have one Creed CD and still don't like Creed very much, I would pay money to see Durst getting beat down.

And they have plenty of talent. ROXRAN- Creed is the band that saved rock. RM95- Preach on man. Some of the morons hate Creed because its the cool thing to do apparently. Hating success is cool. The cool thing to do is to find some obscure backpage band and call it novel and "true". The bands that have success and are acclaimed, tend to really suck. Ric- Don't be such a smartass. If you had actually read the thread, I made that comment in response to a poster's mentioning that Creed "held its own" in terms of album sales.
I agree. I like Creed, and don't understand the hate. If hating Creed is the cool thing to do, then wouldn't all the Creed-haters be demostrating "flock" mentality?
I happen to like some of Creed's work. I don't think its funny when The lead singer is seriously injured and all you guys can do is say "Damn, It would have been cool if he died." I see rH doesn't get flamed for being a heartless b*stard. When I posted something about a 49er player who had a testical removed You guys jumped all over my ass.

In my opinion, Creed's music is better then Nirvana's, but nobody can ever really replace what any of those early 90's bands did for rock (Alice In Chains, STP, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc.). Nirvana and those bands were amazing and I dont know if rock will ever get that good again. Creed does kick ass though. They have a distinctive sound and I really like to listen to Stapps lyrics.
where did rH say he wanted him dead...i took from his post that it would of been hell of alot better if his vocal chords were crushedand thus no more creed...
i like creed. But if you don't...you know, i'm ok with that. There are far less talented musicians making it big out there...I would much rather put down my money on a Creed Cd than some of that other stuff.
