I've got nothing against Creed, but their music always seemed too manicured and pre-packaged for my tastes.
Proof that a hardcore libertarian/conservative (bamaslammer) and a hardcore liberal (me) can agree on something. The death of Creed unites us all under the banner of good musical taste. BTW, BS - could you send me an address so that I can mail the bumper music and press kit to you? We finally got the CDs in. tom@modulator.org
one thing about these guys they were always good for a decent laugh, when you saw a video or something of them. that singer got so serious with his bland imitating music.
Wow! I've hated Creed since the first time I heard them. At the time it seemed that the whole world loved 'em and I was the only one who didn't. Seems I'm not alone in being alone (to quote music from a GREAT band) Creed sucked balls -- droxford
You hear that quiet sobbing coming from the direction of Atlanta? That's right, Nomar just got the news.
A co-worker told me yesterday on the way home from work, he was listening to a radio station and they mentioned that Creed broke up then said that they were going to play a Creed song in tribute to the band, they ended up playing some Pearl Jam song and the DJ stopped it and said "Whoops, wrong band!". HAHAHA, i almost died laughing when i heard that.
Yeah, I agree with you RM95. When I read about this on Chron.com it really didn't mean much to me. I don't care for the band, and really couldn't careless if they stayed together. The only problem is that their trash will still be played on the airwaves.
I heard that they hired their old bass player back (the one that apparently didn't get along with Stapp) and hired a new singer. They are reforming under a new name. I also heard that Scott Stapp is recording a hip-hop album. Seriously, I'm not kidding. Stop laughing.
