generally its safe but you MUST drink LOTS AND LOTS of water - like 2-3 times more than usual per day. otherwise 1 - your body forgets how to re-synthesise its own phosphates. 2 - you dry out and end up looking like a prune.
oh, sorry just read this post. lots of people will try to sell you on all the combo stuff (mixed with other products designed to "boost creatine's effectiveness") the reality is that that other stuff is simply there so they can dilute the actual creatine with garbage that does nothing for you - and then charge you MORE for it!! so stick to the most purest form of Creatine possible.
